Initiates and/or completes diagnostic test forms per provider order, telephones prescriptions to pharmacies, relays medical information from physician to patient and relays information from patient to physician.
Charts in patient medical records as indicated.

May perform hearing and vision tests, glaucoma tests and visual acuities.
Collects, by non-invasive techniques and preserves specimens for testing, including urine, sputum and stool.
Participates in Departmental Quality Assurance Activities.

Qualifications
Education:
High School Diploma required.
Certified Medical Assistant preferred but not required.
Medical Assistant training is required.
Qualifications:

Prior dermatology and cosmetic experience is required.
Knowledge of medical dermatology terms/CPT, ICD-10
Knowledge of cosmetic products, procedures, and terminology
Quality written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.

Professional in appearance and mannerisms.
Able to demonstrate compassion and caring when dealing with others, patients, and co-workers.
