· Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
· One (1) year of experience in a medical environment, preferable in an ambulatory clinic care setting - front office and back office.
· State certification or registration as a Certified Medical Assistant, preferred.
· Must possess a current American Heart Association BLS certification.
· Must be able to successfully pass the Employee Health Program requirements and background investigation.
Knowledge, Abilities, Skills, and Certifications:
· Knowledge of basic laboratory procedures, equipment needed for procedures and how to complete and submit requisition forms and orders.
· Knowledge of applicable tribal, federal, state, local laws, and regulations.
· Knowledge of the Joint Commission accreditation process.

· Knowledge of standards of care for the delivery of patient care.
· Knowledge of patient evaluation and facility triage procedures.

Physical Demands:
