The new Physician Assistant will work directly with this trauma team and handle a variety of complex orthopedic trauma cases. The position includes ED consults, first assist (OR), rounds, inpatient management and clinic. The group has their own Physical Therapy, Digital X-Ray and MRI. This position is a four-day (4 ten-hour day shifts) work week (days) with the potential for three 12-hour day shifts. Responsibilities include: H&P?s, patient evaluation and education, refer for diagnostic treatment, ED orthopedic consults, first assist, review lab results, write scripts, injections and aspirations, treat fractures (reductions), casting and splinting. Successful candidates should be NCCPA-Certified and have direct orthopedic experience. The location is in a beautiful area in an upscale suburb of Phoenix.
