Responsible for the direct supervision and development of Case Management Agency staff and ensures that performance standards are met as identified statutes, regulations, and contract guidelines. Work location will primarily be in the Greeley Office; however, may travel to meeting locations throughout the state and attend national conferences. Responsibilities and Duties : * Greet patients and perform Check-in and Check-out procedures in an accurate and timely manner * Room patients, process urine specimens, and take vitals * Process patient payments and perform billing payment entry * Prepare payment batches and maintain accurate office money and cash transactions * Schedule patient appointments * Perform medication, test and procedure authorizations * Distribute notes and information to outside providers/entities when needed * Prepare for patient office visits and prepare lab work in patient charts * Maintain appointment waitlist and schedule waitlist appointments whenever possible * Scan and attach patient medical records and administrative documents in EMR * Utilize and maintain office communication through Outlook, calendars and task reminder * Review and process incoming faxes, and flow labs that are not electronically sent * Make patient reminder calls for lab work two weeks prior to patient appointments * Cross coverage of other duties as needed & other duties as assigned Experience and Skills: Essential Skills and Experience: * Completion of a certified Medical Assistant education program and have a minimum of two years of relevant MA experience * High school diploma or GED * Professionalism in appearance, behavior, and communication * Expected to communicate in a precise and clear manner, verbally and in writing * Works with others in a cooperative and supportive manner * Displays patience and compassion in all patient interactions * Ability to effectively multitask in a fast paced environment * Possess an intermediate skill level with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook * Ability to navigate the internet proficiently * Proficient with general math skills * Expected to function at a high level of efficiency without constant supervision and also work as part of a team * Possess a valid driver's license with a good MVR
