A Medical Transcriptionist/Scribe position is present during a provider's performance of clinical services and is responsible for documenting activities performed by the provider in the medical record during the course of the service. Medical Transcriptionist/Scribe are motivated individuals trained in medical documentation to assist providers with efficiency. The Medical Transcriptionist/Scribe will accompany one provider per shift to complete their charts and help department flow.

Scribes generally accompany one provider per shift to complete their charts and help department flow. Our providers include EM residents, attending physicians, and advanced practice providers (APPs).
