Coordinating physician schedule in clinic and/or operating room (OR).
Ensuring nursing supplies and medications are properly ordered and available.
Acts as a mentor for students.
Participating in and supporting CSI work and activities.

This Medical Assistant position will be based primarily at Hirsch Clinic in our medical office building in Viroqua with some local travel to other various VMH clinics as needed. The Medical Assistant duties include rooming patients, taking and recording vitals, assisting nurses and providers with both clinical and clerical tasks. May also assist with various laboratory procedures.
Hours are four days per week, 7:30 am - 5:30 pm, with a Saturday morning rotation. Completion of Medical Assistant program and CPR certification required. MA certification strongly preferred.
