Reports To: Director of Nursing / Site Director / Site Supervisors / Regional Nursing Supervisors Compensation: Hourly Employee; $17-$18/hour. Commensurate with experience. Position Summary The Medical Assistant/Receptionist plays a vital dual role, supporting both clinical and administrative functions within the FACE to FACE Partial Hospital and Outpatient Programs. This position involves direct interaction with consumers as well as collaboration with multidisciplinary teams across the organization to ensure efficient, compassionate care and smooth office operations. Assist with opening and closing office procedures. Obtain vital signs (BP, HR, Wt and Ht) for consumers as directed and document findings appropriately. Facilitate lab-related tasks, including obtaining consents, completing requisition forms, and assisting with urine specimen collection. Support telehealth operations in collaboration with nurses and prescribers. Maintain and inventory first aid kits and medication samples under nurse supervision. Effectively manage crisis situations in accordance with clinic protocol. Maintain professional boundaries, communicate consistently with staff, participate in team meetings, and adapt to a dynamic work environment. Assist with coverage to other NOFC locations, as needed. Accept feedback, pursue professional growth, stay current with training, and perform additional duties as needed to support clinic operations. Perform additional duties as assigned. This role requires extended periods of remaining in a stationary position during HIPAA-compliant communications and requires the ability to perform physical activities such as bending and reaching.
