The Orthopedic Clinic is seeking a dedicated certified Medical Assistant that has previous medical assisting experience to join our dynamic team as an orthopedic Medical Assistant. The Medical Assistant will work directly under the supervision of our Orthopedic surgeons and will be accountable for creating an exceptional patient experience, while ensuring accurate, efficient and effective clinical operational practices are followed. The Medical Assistant is responsible for application and removal of casts including complex casting and orthopedic splints and devices. This position has a significant amount of patient contact and is typically involved in the team assessment of patient needs. This role requires exemplary customer service skills, problem solving, organizational skills and strong attention to detail. We believe every patient should receive the best possible care, our practice offers an array of services specializing in general orthopedics, spine care, sports reconstruction, adult reconstruction and non-surgical treatments. We currently have eleven Orthopedic Surgeons, one Interventional Pain Management Physician, Mid-Level Providers, and a Physical Therapy team who serve patients at four locations within Volusia and Flagler counties.
