Key Responsibilities + Room patients, obtain medical histories, and record vital signs accurately. + Prepare exam rooms, instruments, and supplies following infection-control and sterilization standards. + Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and minor in-office treatments. + Administer injections, perform EKGs, collect specimens (blood, urine, swabs), and conduct point-of-care testing as permitted by certification and state regulations. + Update patient charts and ensure accurate EMR documentation. + Manage clinical inventory, restock exam rooms, and track supply levels. + Coordinate referrals, lab orders, diagnostic imaging orders, and follow-up appointments. + Support back-office workflow, including prepping charts, managing patient calls, and collaborating with front office staff for seamless coordination. + Follow all HIPAA, OSHA, and clinic safety protocols.
