Wael Elsaidy, Ph.D., graduated from Cairo University in 1985 with a bachelor degree from Civil Engineering Department then he moved to USA where he got Master Degree Civil Engineering from NC State and then Master Degree Computer Science from NC State and then a Ph.D. degree computer science from NC State.

Wael worked at Research Triangle Park (RTP) with a startup that developed mass storage solutions, then he moved to work for GE Medical 1995 where he was part of the team who worked with Dr. Clonee for the early development of DICOM and applying that the flagship product called AW (CT/MR workstation). Wael then left GE and Joined ATL 1998 which was the world leader in building medical ultrasound. ATL was then acquired by Philips Medical in 1999. Wael worked on many major Philips products like HDI5000, iU22, iE33, and Xcelera. In 2006 Wael and Ewald de Vries a co-worker from Philips started Medstreaming with focus on vascular solutions. Medstreaming quickly becomes the leader of vascular software in the USA market, in 2008 Medstreaming start developing cardiology solutions as well. In 2009 Medstreaming developed its own cardiovascular outpatient EMR to provide a total solution for the cardiovascular domain. In 2011 Medstreaming its Medical billing solution targeting the cardiovascular domain as well. In 2013 Medstreaming start releasing in intervention and surgical software targeting inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular procedure. In 2016 Medstreaming did its first major acquisition for M2S the leader of vascular clinical research and registries software. M2S is the main provider of vascular registries software in USA market. Combining Medstreaming and M2S created the largest vascular bioinformatic company worldwide. Recently Medstreaming focus on Cardiovascular Big data and cardiovascular precision medicine.
