In this role, you will implement and execute the strategy and implementation plan for educational programs for new and tenured sales representatives and clinical specialists to drive electrophysiology (EP) product procedure across the CAS portfolio of cardiac ablation products. You will play an integral role in executing the training and education strategy for the US sales team, as our business enters multiple new market segments and expands the cardiac ablation portfolio with advanced technologies. You will serve as the lead for regional customer and employee education and training activities in support of CAS procedure and product launches. Partnering with key leadership, sales field and cross functional personnel to identify opportunities for and barriers to improving regional performance.
You will serve as the customer and field technical resource in CAS. Providing expertise and leadership in the areas of Physician and Field education, AHP education, clinical evidence interpretation, and Medtronic employee education. The **Packaging Lab Technician II** works independently, performing testing and other duties according to standard operating procedures. Tasks are directed by Packaging Engineers and R&D staff, though some projects will be self-directed. As a member of the Process Technology group, the Packaging Lab Technician II is trained on standard test methods used at Integra. These methods may involve flexible and rigid packaging, packaging sealing equipment and packaging performance testing equipment. In these duties and others, attention to safety is required.
The Packaging Lab Technician II is also responsible for overseeing laboratory housekeeping. These duties include cleaning of laboratory spaces and classified (clean room) spaces along with duties related to the upkeep and cleaning of laboratory equipment, instruments, and common laboratory areas.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

This position will reside in one of our Medtronic office locations (Minneapolis, MN, Lafayette, CO, Jacksonville, FL, Boston, MA, Irvine, CA, Memphis, TN or Washington D.C.).
This position reports to the Legal Director, US Commercial Legal.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
+ Provide guidance, structure, draft, and negotiate agreements with respect to various strategic opportunities, such as new and innovative sales programs, discount arrangements, group purchasing organization agreements, technology agreements, distribution, capital sales programs, or service and repair agreements.
+ Provide guidance on Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFAR) in relation to sales to the US government.
+ Advise on administrative policies impacting state and federal government contracting and commercial matters.
+ Identify, assess, and communicate key contract risks, obligations, and practical mitigation strategies to internal stakeholders.
+ Collaborate closely with Medtronic's various legal Centers of Expertise (COEs) and other legal and compliance professionals, as needed, to deliver the highest quality practical and strategic advice to sales, finance, and other stakeholders to close deals effectively and compliantly.
+ Advise on federal healthcare laws, antikickback, antitrust, False Claims Act, HIPAA, state data privacy and security laws, software licensing, FDA law, IP and other legal risk areas governing healthcare technology commercial transactions.
+ Develop, review, or implement company-wide and/or functionally specific training programs for the areas described above.
**MUST HAVE: MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**
+ Juris Doctor from a nationally recognized US law school and admission to practice law
+ 5+ years of experience working with commercial contracts as an in-house corporate attorney, or with a law firm, with significant exposure to federal government contracts

+ Routinely monitors all pertinent region data sets and updates region business plan/tactics appropriately. Develops a plan to maximize the region's performance impact and the utilization of resources (e.g., sales calls, samples, promotional speaker programs, etc.) to support appropriate usage of Lumateperone.
+ Works collaboratively with other functional areas to identify and respond to local opportunities and customer needs. Does so by serving as a resource within one's region and by appropriately leveraging the expertise of others (e.g., Managed Markets ADs, Medical Affairs, Sales Operations, etc.). For select HCP/Accounts, leads/coordinates with customer team to develop customer strategy.
+ Works with the Regional Sales Director to develop and maintain local business plans that ensures achievement of all KPI goals and delivery on all sales objectives. Capitalizes on formulary approvals and other opportunities through effective implementation of the strategic and pull-through plans.

**_Job Requirements_**
+ Must have a Bachelor's degree.
+ Must have 5+ years of pharmaceutical or healthcare sales experience required; launch experience and CNS experience are highly preferred.
+ Must have at least 2+ years of field sales management experience.
+ Must have strong sense of self-motivation/initiative, excellent decision-making judgment, strong teaming/collaboration skills (across functions) and the ability to learn and adapt to environment in order to overcome obstacles. Must be resilient and adaptable - ability to recover from setback and problems and learn from mistakes.
+ Demonstrated success in translating vision and strategy into tactical plans to drive business; ability to develop and execute localized business plans.
+ Experience interacting with KOLs, organized customers, and managed care organizations.
+ Effective communication, presentation, and decision-making skills. Exceptional ability to clearly communicate and articulate strategy and tactics in a way that motivates and energizes their team.
+ Thorough understanding of customer segments and area market dynamics and competitive landscape within neuroscience. Strong business analytic skills and ability to effectively analyze metrics to assess progress against objectives.
+ Manages all aspects of required administrative work.
+ Must be willing to travel up to 75% or as needed based on Company needs.

Salary range for this position: $130,000.00 - $205,000.00
