Pay is good & the products are important to our customers.
While the products are important to our customers, the PM's on the projects would cut as many corners as possible to save a buck. The teams aren't that nice. SLOW!!!
The area is nice & there is a pension if you stay long enough (which since the Medtronic/Covidien merger there haven't been many people that stay in their unit for longer than 3+ years when they enter the job)

Time off and Leave Benefits. Short term disability paid at 100% for up to 9 weeks and 70% after that. 26 weeks of short term disability. Maternity leave is paid for 12 weeks. Paternal leave paid 6 weeks.
