We are looking for: Veterinary Client Service Representative Our Client Services Representatives are the first team our clients meet when they walk through the door, the friends that offers support while waiting in the lobby and the experts at answering any questions. They partner closely with our veterinary assistants and technicians to provide the MedVet experience for anyone walking through our doors. They operate under the supervision of the Practice Manager. Responsibilities Assure all areas of the hospital is clean, without odor and is kept in good condition. Clean, dust, and wipe furniture; sweep, mop, or vacuum floors; empty/clean wastebaskets and trash containers; empty and clean ash trays and cigarette urns; replace light bulbs; refill restroom dispensers. Follow instructions regarding the use of chemicals and supplies. Ensure that cages and animals are properly numbered and identified and the area is clean and a pleasant environment for our patients. Clean, disinfect and maintain kennels, cages, and runs as often as is necessary to ensure no cages or kennels are soiled and odors are not apparent. The Tech Assistant provides daily basic care for in-patient and boarding animals, including bathing, feeding, exercising. This position is responsible for cleaning of equipment and clinic spaces, assisting the veterinary technicians/assistants, and some customer services and client interaction. This role's focus will be our boarding kennel, but you will split time between the kennel, grooming, and the clinic while gaining experience in General Practice, Emergency, and ICU medicine. You will join an amazing team of friendly and knowledgeable staff in a fast-paced clinic atmosphere. Your duties will involve, but are not limited to: cleaning kennels, feeding/watering animals, litter box cleaning, laundry, sweeping/mopping, bathing and assisting our groomer, making surgery packs, proper and safe restraint of animals, assisting the veterinary technicians with appointments, and other duties as assigned by your supervisor. You will be on your feet the majority of the day and often expected to move at a fairly quick pace. The PCS provides care and the cleaning/sanitation of Noah's Animal Hospitals including cleaning of cages, runs and ward areas, laundry, walking, and proper upkeep of all areas within the practice. They operate under the supervision of the Practice Manager. Responsibilities Assure all areas of the hospital is clean, without odor and is kept in good condition. Clean, dust, and wipe furniture; sweep, mop, or vacuum floors; empty/clean wastebaskets and trash containers; empty and clean ash trays and cigarette urns; replace light bulbs; refill restroom dispensers. Follow instructions regarding the use of chemicals and supplies. Ensure that cages and animals are properly numbered and identified and the area is clean and a pleasant environment for our patients. Clean, disinfect and maintain kennels, cages, and runs as often as is necessary to ensure no cages or kennels are soiled and odors are not apparent. Perform general cleaning in other areas of the hospital to control the spread of disease. Wash and sterilize water and food bowls. Launder and dry towels and blankets. Patrol hospital grounds daily, picking up any trash and stool material. Empty trash. Attend to emergencies when necessary or requested. Work well with all employees and ensure that your actions support the hospital, the doctors and the practice philosophy. Perform other duties as assigned Understands basic animal care and assures that pet area is clean and sanitary. Maintains a pleasant, professional manner with clients, patients and fellow team members. Ability to perform moderately heavy physical labor. Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments. Understand and carry out oral and written direction.
