If you want to be a Meeting & Events Manager, you will manage and oversee the planning of virtual and live meetings and events. You will report to a manager of the unit/department that is hosting the event, manages staff in the performance of their jobs, and helps design and set up events and meetings. Meeting and Event Managers coordinate all the structure involved in an event - from the coordination of the moving parts to making sure everyone is successful.
You will make sure events go smoothly, including choosing the locations, hiring the staff and caterers, hiring entertainment, and the other vendors. You should have a bachelor's in communication and be experienced in event coordination or as a customer service manager.
