Overview
Melaleuca has an immediate opening for an Inventory ControlSpecialist - This position monitors inventory and its movement to determine the warehouse accuracy, and monitor General Manufacturing Procedures to ensure that outlined guidelines are being adhered to.
This position is located in Kansas City, Missouri and is a Non-Smoking Campus
Shift:
M-Th 2:00pm - 12:30am (OT two times per month to include Fri & Sat, same times)
Responsibilities
Essential
Conducts Cycle Counts in assigned Warehouse/Shipping line locations on a daily basis.
Conducts Location Audits on assigned areas and location with a high degree of re-occurring errors.
Researches and corrects any transfer errors and inventory variances, then notifies person(s) responsible for creating error.
Completes requisitions for various departments.
Monitors Auto Relief; researches and corrects all auto relief errors.
Maintains obsolete inventory.
Answers and/or resolves inventory questions from various departments, (i.e., Purchasing, Forecasting, Information Services, Accounting, etc.).
Data entries all adjustments and returns movements.
Additional
Performs other duties as assigned or needed.
Qualifications
Essential
Helpful to have knowledge of the JDE/High Jump systems.
Ability to work independently.
Written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs.
Standing, sitting and/or walking for duration of shift.
Pulling, stretching, bending and lifting for duration of shift.
Visually read bottles, tote tags, etc.
Manual dexterity for such duties as collating, sorting, filing, writing, etc.
Three (3) months or more previous inventory control experience helpful.
Knowledge of computers and related software.

Summary:
A Shipping Clerk will process outbound shipments (pick product, print packing slip, paperwork, and labels, package materials properly, load outbound product to carrier), ensure customers and internal team receive top-notch service and on time delivery, provide visual inspection of outbound orders for accuracy, noting discrepancies and escalating as appropriate, and investigate problem orders to arrive at timely resolution and meet customer requirements.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities included, but not limited to:
Handling aircraft parts in accordance with the Jet Midwest Quality Assurance manual
Preparing aircraft parts for shipment
Cleaning aircraft parts, as required
Complies with written and oral instructions
Examining work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures
Ensuring correct shipment of international orders and hazardous material orders
May be required to train others
Cross trained on Receiving and Cycle Count
Become forklift certified
Become Repair and Sales Order qualified
Become Hazmat trained and qualified
Performs other job duties as assigned

Physical Demands & Work Environment:
While performing the responsibilities of the Shipping Clerk, you will be seated at a desk, using a phone and computer, for much of your workday. When fulfilling job duties, physical requirements may include walking long distances, crouching, crawling, standing on ladders or scaffolds, using hoists and lifts, using precision instruments, and other necessary hand tools requiring manual dexterity and visual acuity. These job duties may be performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment, or outdoors in a variety of weather conditions (when safe). The noise level is typically low to moderate, as consistent with a warehousing environment. At times, some lifting may be required, up to 50 lbs. As such, safe lifting techniques should be used, and a request for assistance should be made to a co-worker or supervisor.

Ensure that supplies with the earliest expiration date are used first.

Serve as a liaison between the clinical laboratories and warehouse, supports clinical laboratories with procuring one off items from warehouse.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.
Perform all job responsibilities in alignment with the industry's best security practices and regulatory guidelines to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of protected health information and other sensitive company data.
Must be familiar with and abide by the Corporate Compliance Program and all Corporate policies, including the Privacy and Security policies.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Individual will:
Deliver personal mobility equipment to clients.
Train clients on safe use of Hoveround equipment.
Perform troubleshooting, preventative maintenance and repairs on clients' equipment.
Perform in-home evaluations and demonstrations of the features and benefits of products to prospective clients in their home.
Communicate daily with assigned customer service and/or scheduling representative for updates on the needs of clients' regarding delivery and/or service requirements.
Complete and submit paperwork for service orders, evaluations, deliveries, and other activities with clients within 24 hours.
Maintain inventory control and conduct quarterly physical-count inventory.

Education/Experience/Technical Requirements

ATP certification helpful, but not required.
