Key Responsibilities Oversee and approve all product sample activities, including reviewing, screening, and approving shipments. Coordinate and assist with the preparation and presentation of regulatory information in technical literature and reports. Manage technical staff and serve as the main liaison for external communications between production, operations, and regulatory teams. Evaluate and provide opinions on the feasibility, status, and value of product development activities, and update project statuses on the Product Development Tracking website. Reporting to this position are the Shipping/Receiving Team and Logistics & Freight Invoicing Coordinator. We are currently seeking a Shipping & Distribution Technology Supervisor who will report to the Sr. Manager of Logistics. Reporting to this position are the Shipping/Receiving Team and Logistics & Freight Invoicing Coordinator. Ensure all employees feel heard, valued, and connected. Soft skills are a must. Ability to communicate cross-functionally with multiple departments and senior leadership Manage filing of BOL's, pick slips, and packing lists. Manages the releasing, shipment, and tracking of all national account orders. Manages all shortages reported in the warehouse. Develops adhoc reports and KPI's as needed for management. Manages scheduling for inbound and outbound loads in dock appointments. Serves as a back-up for shipping and receiving office staff. Completes other duties as assigned by management. Perform Freight Analysis. Experience as a user and ability to interpret information from TMS (Transportation Management Systems), ERP, WMS (RF Smart is a plus), and YMS. Supervise and provide direction from a technical/configuration aspect in the following specific areas of Distribution Technology. Ability to work, communicate, and partner cross-functionally with the IT department. Experience as administrator utilizing configuration from TMS (Transportation Management Systems), ERP, WMS, YMS, and ELD (Electronic Logging Devices). User interface testing with IT Business Analyst in ERP, TMS, WMS and other systems as needed Expectations are to be a partner/liaison with IT to ensure the above systems continue to operate smoothly for logistics as well as testing new functionality produced by developers This position requires someone with an innovative spirit always seeking continuous improvement in Logistics systems. Requisition Number 5480 Shift First Qualification Qualifications: Minimum 2 years College with work experience. 4 years preferred experience is a plus with a minimum level of direct experience in a similar position 2 years. Management experience with emphasis on Team building, staffing, organizing, motivating, supervising and communicating. Must be familiar with transportation management systems. Must be PC literate and having a working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), and time management skills.
