The LMS engineering team is responsible for building and scaling the technology stack that powers our advertising business including advertiser experiences, ad serving platform and ad products. AFP-short for Assets, Formats, and Placements-is dedicated to maximizing advertiser outcomes by developing innovative, high-performing marketing products that boost both ad demand and supply. We're now looking for a Principal Staff Engineer to partner with the AFP leader in transforming marketing ads, driving higher ROI, breaking into new verticals, and enhancing personalized member experiences. This role requires a blend of technical vision and thought leadership, with the ability to inspire engineers as they tackle complex, end-to-end challenges. You will partner across the company with the entire Ads ecosystem as well as Media Infra, Flagship and internal customer support tooling. You will be guiding the team to reimagine a platform that follows β€œNo need to write new code” philosophy, you will guide the team to experiment with tangible outcomes. β€’ Architecture Evolution: We are quickly approaching a supply constrained environment. Adding more supply will lead to introducing undesirable marketplace dynamics. Identify expensive iterative modeling needs, use plug and play approach to experiment faster for baselining initial performance.
