    - Specjalista (-tka) ds. naukowo-technicznych / Scientific-technical staff member **Specjalista (-tka) ds. naukowo-technicznych /** ***Scientific-technical staff member*** / *Opis oferty* : We are looking for a scientific-technical staff member to work in the International Centre for Cancer Vaccine Science (ICCVS) hosted by the University of Gda ń sk. **About the SWIFT project / *O projekcie SWIFT*** **ICCVS is the Center of Excellence established in 2017 as part of the IRAP programme of FNP at the University of Gdańsk. Since then we have elaborated an algorithm for identification of cancer specific T cells, which selectively kill autologous tumour but not healthy lung tissue. Simultaneously, we have developed the method for identification and quantification of cancer specific antigens (neoantigens) presented by MHC class I molecules of the tumour. Therefore, in the current project we want to use this experience and knowhow to develop comprehensive anti-cancer therapy that will be translated into clinical trial and will open new research pathways in oncology. To achieve this goal the current project is composed of the following 2 parts which will be developed in parallel: 1). Clinical Trial and 2) Research and Development Activities focused on improvement of the approach tested in clinical trial. With the SWIFT project we aim to stream R&D activity into the following directions: 1). Identification of neoantigens presented by the tumour MHC class I and class II molecules and isolation of T cell clones that recognize them (groups involved: Clinical Peptidomics, Cancer Immunology, Structural Peptidomics and Immune Memory & Cell Reprogramming) 2). Determination of specific receptor-ligand pairs responsible for docking of cancer derived extracellular vesicles (EVs) to T cells (groups involved: Clinical Peptidomics, Structral Proteomics and Cancer Immunology) 3). Development of the strategies preventing T cell reprogramming by cancer derived EVs (groups involved: Immune Memory & Cell Reprogramming, Structural Proteomics and Cancer Immunology) 4). Modification of tumour microenvironment with reprogrammed autologous monocytes (groups involved: Immune Memory & Cell Reprogramming, Cancer Immunology, Structutal Proteomics and Clinical Peptidomics).** ***ICCVS to Centrum Doskonałości utworzone w 2017 r. w ramach programu MAB FNP w Uniwersytecie Gdańskim. Od tego czasu opracowaliśmy algorytm identyfikacji limfocytów T, które selektywnie rozpoznają i niszczą autologiczne komórki nowotworowe. Równolegle opracowaliśmy metodę identyfikacji i ilościowego oznaczania antygenów specyficznych dla nowotworu prezentowanych przez jego cząsteczek MHC klasy I (neoantygeny). W związku z tym w ramach obecnego projektu chcemy wykorzystać tę wiedzę i know-how do opracowania kompleksowej terapii przeciwnowotworowej, która zostanie przeniesiona do fazy badań klinicznych i otworzy nowe ścieżki badawcze w onkologii. Aby osiągnąć ten cel, obecny projekt składa się z następujących dwóch części, które będą rozwijane równolegle: 1) Badanie kliniczne i 2) Działalność badawczo-rozwojowa skupiona na doskonaleniu podejścia testowanego w badaniu klinicznym. W projekcie SWIFT planujemy skierować działalność B+R w następujących kierunkach: 1).
