Identify and mitigate risks associated with battery storage operations and installations including technical, financial, and regulatory risks. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders including regulatory bodies, service providers, and customers. Review submittals from contractors including technical specifications, scope of work, schedule, project description, and design packages. Lead the BESS technical tasks in preparation of EPC agreement, Exhibits, and the review of potential project acquisition opportunities. Lead and supervise in field with site visits as needed, testing, commissioning and start-up of constructed power plants. Act as the primary point of contact with battery manufacturers. Maintains continuous improvements in project designs, plans, processes and product development. Lead and supervise as needed, testing, operating and maintenance for assets. Manage the technical obligations according to PPA and IA. Coordinate internal resources for subject matter expertise and project risk reduction. Perform other duties and special projects, as assigned. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. Minimum of 10 years of professional engineering experience in the utility scale battery energy storage system and solar industry. Relevant work experience in the design and development of battery storage facilities. Experience with AutoCAD (or equivalent). Experience with analysis tools for ESS operation.
