In this capacity, the candidate will act as an SME for root cause analysis and frequently develop scripts to automate complex tasks that bridge software and networking functions. They may also lead software automation design and delivery projects specifically tailored to network operations. The Principal Member of Technical Staff will offer broad guidance to technical and senior technical staff, interpreting input from leaders (technical and managerial) and mentoring junior engineers. In this role, you'll build and operate massive-scale, integrated cloud services that power our next-gen analytics platform. You'll work on a "lights-out" data pipeline-the backbone of FDI-that manages the data warehouse for customers across the globe. This is a rare opportunity to work on deeply technical problems in a cloud-native, multi-tenant environment where your work will directly impact thousands of customers and millions of users. **What You'll Do?** + Design, develop, and maintain scalable, resilient, and highly available data systems. + Build large-scale distributed data pipelines that power automated data ingestion, transformation, and warehousing. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, architects, and QA to deliver high-impact features. + Drive innovation in data engineering best practices, architecture, and tooling within a cloud-native environment. + Ensure system security, performance, and reliability in a multi-tenant SaaS setup. **Responsibilities** **Qualifications** : + BS or higher degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent with 5+ years of applied experience + Strong programming skills in Scala, Java, and Python + Experience in implementing scalable data pipelines using Spark for both batch and real-time processing + Developed and maintained data transformation logic using functional programming paradigms in Scala/Python + Strong foundational knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and computer science fundamentals + Should be able to write SQL queries and have experience working with database through Java/Scala + Be a champion for CI/CD and development best practices, especially around automation and testing + Experience with agile software development + Experience building high-performance, resilient, scalable and well-engineered systems + A creative and growth mindset and willingness to solve challenging problems and learn new skills on the job + Good communication skills, with ability to clearly articulate engineering designs + Prior experience with Oracle Cloud, or Oracle Analytics is a big plus **Responsibilities:** As a member of the software engineering division, you will apply basic to intermediate knowledge of software architecture to perform software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications.
