As a Software Engineer Principle within PNC's ET/S Apps Enterprise Fraud Technology organization, you will be based in one of PNC's Technology Hub locations (Pittsburgh, PA, Cleveland, OH, Columbus, OH, Birmingham, AL, Dallas, TX). Weekly time in the office is needed. Regular 40-hour week. Should be available to support weekend PROD releases and on call rotational support during weeknights and weekend. We are seeking a knowledgeable Apigee API and SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) developer to join our team to support and maintain Pindrop application. The role will mainly focus on the infrastructure maintenance, implementation, development and support of APIs through Apigee, alongside leveraging SIP for effective communication solutions. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing API ecosystem and ensuring reliable voice and data communication. Needed skills: 1) Proven development experience with APIGEE API and SIP protocols. 2) Manage Infrastructure for API Gateway 3) Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles and best practices 4) Familiarity with telecommunications and VOIP technologies 5) Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript. 6) Maintain and continue evolving the integration with CI/CD pipeline. 7) Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills 8) Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. 9) SAFe experience a plus Key responsibilities: 1) Infrastructure maintenance, implementation and support API using the Apigee platform. 2) Maintain SIP based communication to ensure seamless voice and video connectivity within Pindrop's offerings. 3) Continuous monitoring of API and SIP performance, making necessary adjustments to optimize efficiency and reliability. 4) Enforce security measures for API and SIP communications including authentication, encryption and compliance with industry standard. 5) Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and network engineers, to ensure cohesive integration of APIs and SIP solutions. 6) Create and maintain clear documentation for APIs, SIP configurations, and integration guidelines to facilitate knowledge sharing and support. 7) Identify and resolve issues related to API performance and SIP functionality, providing technical support as needed. 8) Ability to work in dynamic and fast-paced SAFe agile environment.
