We are seeking a Technical Director of Electrical Engineering with expertise in managing substation design across both Physical and Protection & Control (P&C) disciplines. The ideal candidate possesses 15+ years of related experience and will be based in either one of the following Pond offices: Atlanta, GA; Peachtree Corners, GA; Tampa, FL; The Woodlands, TX; Denver, CO. The successful candidate would be mentoring a dynamic team of Power Industry professionals while supporting/leading a range of multidisciplinary projects. Typical projects could include detailed design of substation physical layouts, lightning protection, conduit and cable plans, grounding analysis and design, generating single and three-line schematic diagrams, lighting design, specifying equipment and materials, and coordination with studies, protection and control, structural, civil, transmission line, and drafting disciplines.
Other duties could include overseeing various three phase and single phase voltage, ampacity, and power calculations, arc flash analyses, performing site visits for data gathering, writing material procurement and construction specifications, evaluating contractor bids, bus and insulator strength calculations, insulation coordination studies, reviewing shop drawings, researching equipment, developing voltage drop, conduit fill and battery sizing calculations, generating engineering fee estimates, providing field support during construction, and preparing reports. The successful candidate would also interface with clients and support proposal development.
Preferred Knowledge and Experience:
Strong knowledge of best practices and industry standards for substation physical design and Protection & Control (P&C) engineering.
Provide technical oversight for complex AIS and GIS substation projects.
Knowledge of protection schemes, relay settings, and substation automation strategies.
Oversee system protection, grounding, relay coordination, and power system studies.
Experience in substation layouts, general arrangements (GAs), conduit plans, grounding designs, and physical equipment selections.
Knowledge of one-line diagrams, relay protection schemes, AC/DC schematics, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams.
High-voltage equipment, relays, CTs, PTs, circuit breakers, SCADA RTUs, PMUs, and DFRs.
Knowledge of relevant standards, including ANSI, IEEE, NESC, NEMA, and OSHA
Proven experience in meeting design schedules
Expertise in substation integration for distributed energy resources, renewable energy, and microgrids
Experience interacting with clients, supporting marketing proposals, and presenting at industry conferences
Proficient in creating equipment data sheets, evaluating contractor bids, and reviewing shop drawings or researching equipment
Ability to generate engineering fee estimates, provide field support during construction, and prepare comprehensive reports
Qualifications:
BS in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university
15+ years of experience
PE License preferred
Proficient with relevant software such as AutoCad Electrical, CYME, ETAP, SKM
Ability to work well within a team environment, positive attitude, multi-task, and self-motivated to produce high quality work.

**Title and Summary**
Manager, Technology Business Management
The Technology Business Management (TBM) team is chartered to deliver a value management framework for decision-making by leaders throughout Mastercard. Key Responsibilities:
1. Apptio Tool Expertise:
o Demonstrate proficiency in using Apptio tool for cost transparency, IT financial management, and TBM analytics.
o Works with TBM team develop & deliver data capabilities needed for Apptio tools, streamlining overall system architecture including configuration and components and ensures usability/functionality of components
o Configure, test, & document Cost model, Allocation model ,Apptio Dashboard, reports and underling data models to meet function design and specifications

2. Communication and Collaboration:

3. IT Finance Management:
o Apply principles of IT finance management to analyze, monitor, and optimize technology investments and expenditures.

Conduct cost analysis, benchmarking, and pricing reviews to establish competitive and sustainable rates.
4. Month-End Process Management:
o Oversee month-end close activities related to technology expenses, revenue recognition, and financial reporting.

5. Annual Rate-Setting Exercise:
