The Lead RN is responsible for the following:
Management and coordination of patient care within the Care Unit on a per shift basis. This is accomplished through implementation and integration of the nursing process, through assignment and supervision of appropriate staff and in coordination and collaboration with physicians.
The Lead RN functions as the Care Unit expert and provides functional direction to members of the OR Patient Care team.
Communicate with our supply chain coordinators, vendors, surgeons, and charge RNs
Review the OR schedule and order necessary products and supplies
Cover breaks, support staff in the room for their services, at times may staff a room
May help our other Leads on projects

General Duties:
* Perform comprehensive and problem-focused histories and physical examinations
* Interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests
* Formulate a differential diagnosis and establish a working diagnosis
* Implement therapeutic intervention for specific conditions requiring consultation, referral, or evaluation by the supervising physician or other healthcare professionals
Qualifications:
* Must have completed an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
* Current, active, unrestricted licensure as a Physician Assistant or NP
* Working experience with Epic EMR system highly preferred
* Licensed to practice in California
* Current BLS and ACLS certification
* DEA number
Base salary range: $132,000-$160,000*
* The salary range above is an estimated annual base salary for a full-time position and depending on experience. Our compensation model utilizes fair market value data specific to your specialty.
