Exciting Opportunity at MSK: We are looking for a clinical nurse with experience in wound, ostomy, and continence care to join our Wound Ostomy Continence (WOC) Team. Our team delivers comprehensive care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating treatment across both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Role Overview:
* You will provide specialized nursing care to hospitalized oncology patients with complex wounds, perform detailed assessments, and develop treatment plans to optimize wound healing and patient outcomes.
* You will also work as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide education, support, and continuity of care throughout the various stages of treatment and follow-up.
* Implement the nursing process for medical and surgical patients requiring intensive monitoring and nursing interventions in our WOC Team.
* Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to facilitate continuity of care.
* Provide outstanding patient centered care to our patients.
Key Qualifications:
* A minimum of 1.5 years of Clinical RN experience in an acute care setting; Wound/Ostomy care experience highly preferred.
* Bachelor's or equivalent experience in Nursing (BSN)
* Current New York State RN License/Registration
* BCLS Certification
* WOCN preferred

Role Overview:
* Work within a Nurse-Physician based Ambulatory Care Practice Model
* Handle a select caseload of patients both Adults and Pediatrics receiving infusions on an outpatient basis.
* Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, blood products, and other medications.
* Act as part of a multidisciplinary team provides continuity of care throughout various stages of treatment and follow-up.
* Participate in the implementation of clinical support programs to ensure efficient care throughout the healthcare continuum.
* Perform patient assessment, offer patient and family education, and symptom management.
* Participate in an individualized training/orientation program geared to providing nursing care in an ambulatory setting.
Key Qualifications:
* New York State License, BCLS required
* 2 years of related chemotherapy experience required
* Infusion experience and IV skills preferred
* Chemotherapy certification and APHON strongly preferred and consistent with all regional sites
* EPIC experience preferred

Document results in EMR
Bill for procedure
Track ordered labs to make sure the office gets results
Vaccine recording and ordering and NYSIIS training to use Health Commerce System
Administer vaccinations according to ACIP/AAP schedules and in-office standing orders
Administer in-office medications under the directions of the provider
Queue medications to providers when requested
Fill out forms to go to schools, day cares, employers, and hospitals/specialists
Assess patient needs via phone call, answering questions when possible and elevating to providers or booking appointments when needed
Complete nursing assessment and triage
Operate according to standard orders and standing protocols
Provide care in a patient-centered manner
Attend medical home meetings
Participate in pre-visit planning

Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Join our team as a Per Diem Clinical Nurse in Outpatient Ambulatory Services. We're looking for a dynamic nursing professional eager to showcase compassionate, evidence-based nursing care skills and make a meaningful impact in our MSK Commack Outpatient Infusion center.
Role Overview:
Work within a Nurse-Physician based Ambulatory Care Practice Model
Handle a select caseload of patients both Adults and Pediatrics receiving infusions on an outpatient basis.
Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, blood products, and other medications.
Act as part of a multidisciplinary team provides continuity of care throughout various stages of treatment and follow-up.
Participate in the implementation of clinical support programs to ensure efficient care throughout the healthcare continuum.
Perform patient assessment, offer patient and family education, and symptom management.
Participate in an individualized training/orientation program geared to providing nursing care in an ambulatory setting.
Key Qualifications:
New York State License, BCLS required
1.5-2 years of related chemotherapy experience required
Infusion experience and IV skills preferred
Chemotherapy certification and APHON strongly preferred and consistent with all regional sites
EPIC experience preferred

Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Join Our Team as a Nurse Leader for our Blood Donor Room & Apheresis at MSK. The Blood Donor Room and Apheresis Team at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) collects life-saving blood components from volunteer and patient donors for patients undergoing cancer treatment. Chemotherapy and radiation therapy deplete blood supply, making a healthy and consistent blood and platelet supply critical for patient care.
Role Overview:
Guide Clinical Excellence: Oversee therapeutic apheresis and specialized cell collection procedures, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety, quality, and compassion.
Support Life-Saving Impact: Direct and support blood collection and apheresis services from volunteer donors, securing the critical blood and platelet supply that sustains cancer care.
Educate & Empower: Provide guidance and education to patients, donors, families, and staff, creating an environment of trust, learning, and empowerment.
Develop Future Talent: Mentor and support your team through individualized training and orientation programs, strengthening nursing practice and building the next generation of nurse leaders.
Key Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license/registration
National Certification is a plus.
A minimum of 5 years recent nursing experience, Blood Donor and Apheresis experience ideal
Demonstrated leadership skills.
