RESPONSIBILITIES
Aviation Rescue Swimmers are tasked with entering treacherous conditions to assist with rescue missions, humanitarian assistance and operational support. One day you may be evacuating families on the other side of the globe amidst a catastrophic storm and the next day rescuing the crew of a ship off the Pacific coast or saving a mountain climber hanging from an inaccessible cliff.
Depending on your role, duties may include:

WORK ENVIRONMENT
As an AWR, you will operate in almost every type of extreme environment and may be assigned to Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) sea or shore duty in any part of the world. You could be assigned to squadrons at Naval Air Stations and may deploy aboard aircraft carriers, surface combat ships, and support ships.
TRAINING AND ADVANCEMENT
Aviation Rescue Swimmers must be prepared to operate in any challenging environment. It's why two years of training in advanced swimming and lifesaving techniques, helicopter mission equipment and helicopter weapons systems are required before you report to your first squadron. Throughout training, candidates are continually tested mentally and physically as they advance to more rigorous and challenging scenarios.
Upon completion of initial training at Recruit Training Command Great Lakes (known as Boot Camp), those pursuing an Aircrewman role undergo the following training pipeline:
Aircrew Candidate School(4 weeks) in Pensacola, FL, to learn water and land survival skills and flight safety
Rescue Swimmer School(5 weeks) in Pensacola, FL, to learn search and rescue techniques
Class A Technical School(5 weeks for AWS/12 weeks for AWR) in Pensacola, FL, to study basic skills in Naval Aviation

After graduation, an AIRR may be assigned to a helicopter command at sea or on shore duty in various locations throughout the U.S., including San Diego, CA; Norfolk, VA; Jacksonville, FL; China Lake, CA; Whidbey Island, WA; Key West, FL.; and many others.
EDUCATION OPPORTUNITIES

This call for applicants is ongoing so that Albany Law School may find Adjunct Faculty and Subject Matter Experts on an as-needed basis from the pool of applicants. At this time there may not be an immediate vacancy, but candidates may apply to this posting at any time for future consideration. Albany Law School seeks qualified candidates to teach courses as online Adjunct Faculty and to build courses as Subject Matter Experts, for the Online Graduate Programs. Course assignments and contracts to build courses are determined by the Assistant Dean and Director of Online Programs, and the respective faculty directors. Subject Matter Experts (SME) use their knowledge and expertise to provide content, assessments, and materials, to build an online course in a specific subject. SMEs are required to build the course within an agreed timeframe and to a specific standard. Adjunct Faculty teach the course using best practice in online teaching and by fulfilling the expectations of Albany Law School in terms of engagement, pedagogy, and assessment, to offer our students an exemplary learning experience. These are the disciplines currently included in our Online Graduate Programs:
Cybersecurity and Data Privacy
Financial Compliance and Risk Management
Government Affairs and Advocacy
Health Law and Compliance
Human Resources: Law, Leadership, and Policy
Qualification Standards:
A Juris Doctor from an accredited law school or a PhD is required
Online teaching experience preferred
Subject Matter Experts should have some knowledge of best practice in online teaching pedagogy
Appropriate experience in the field for which you are applying to teach

Compensation:
Subject Matter Expert Developing a New course: $2,000 to $3,000, depending on course credit hours.
Subject Matter Expert Revising a Course: $1,000 to $2,000, depending on course credit hours.
Adjunct Professor: $1,250 to $4,800, depending on course credit hours.
These are part-time, temporary positions eligible for statutory benefits only.

LabCorp seeking a Courier to join our team in Albany, NY. In this position, you will be responsible for the pickup, transport, and delivery of medical specimens, lab supplies, and reports, while providing excellent service to our clients.
Included with this position is a company vehicle to use for the route. In addition, for only $125 per month, you will have the option of taking this vehicle home with you and using it for personal use.
**Pay Range: $17.75 - $21.00 per hour
All job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 1:00pm - 9:30pm

Job Responsibilities:
Load all necessary suppliers needed for the daily pickups
Complete daily pick up schedule in a timely manner
Deliver all daily picks to your branch at the end of your shift
Handle all specimens and lab samples in a safe and efficient manner
Safely operate a company vehicle and obey all traffic laws
Utilize handheld electronic device to manage daily picks up
Work directly with the dispatcher for additional pick-ups as needed
Evaluate traffic patterns, alternative routes, and weather conditions as needed
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred
Must have a Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
Must be at least 21 years' old
Previous driver/courier experience is preferred
Customer service experience is a plus
Very punctual with strong time management skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to problem solve customer issues
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
