About The Opportunity The T-Car Operator will be responsible for moving corrugated sheets from conveyor lines to machine centers. This person will stage the unfinished stock at the machine centers as necessary following the machine center schedule as a guide. Heavy pushing of stock weighing up to 50 lbs is required on a repetitive basis. A forklift license will be required. Responsibilities We offer two different schedule options for our General Laborers. YOU choose the schedule that works for your lifestyle. * Weekly rotating shift between 1st and 2nd (1st: 6am - 2pm, 2nd: 2pm - 10pm) or * Straight 3rd shift (3rd: 10pm - 6am) The following lists the job tasks and responsibilities that the General Laborer may be performing: * Responsible for correct reporting of time, production, and material usage. * Set up of the machine including preparing materials and retrieving paper from storage. * Using a computer, enter information relating to the production run including job information, measurements etc. * Reports irregularities, maintenance needs and quality problems to necessary staff * Assists crew in running, changing over, starting up and cleaning the machine * Checks raw materials and corrugated paper inventory to what is needed for each production run to ensure shortages are prevented * Accurately use measuring tools to verify dimensions on corrugated board to ensure a quality product * Troubleshoots machine issues and make recommendations on improving the process * Keeps work area clean and orderly * Other job tasks and projects as assigned We are also looking for General Laborers who are self-motivated individuals willing to work safely in a team-based system. They need to have the ability to schedule their work, prioritize their workload, and complete tasks in a timely manner. A desire for continuous improvement and quality workmanship are required to meet our customers increasing demands Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous manufacturing experience is a plus but not required. Good human relations skills and strong verbal communication skills are required. The Process Improvement Intern will be directly involved in special projects designed to improve process efficiency, product quality, and machine productivity in the plant. They will report directly to the Process Improvement Manager and will have a mentor assigned to lead and assist in their work experience. They will be members of the Process Improvement team and work with plant and office staff in the completion of their projects. Networking opportunities with other interns across the plant and company are offered and participation is encouraged. Responsibilities * Supervise project-related items and equipment/parts installations. * Document production processes, and equipment. * Develop operating procedures and training documentation. * Meet with contractors, vendors, engineers, etc. * Design and draw equipment layouts and parts. * Assist with implementation of new process information systems and use current systems. * Research information relating to various mill equipment and processes. * Assist with equipment troubleshooting, quality investigations, and maintenance planning. * Assist the Engineering Department in other assigned tasks. The Quality Technician will assist the Product Safety & Quality Manager in planning, implementing, monitoring and continually improving the quality process and the overall Product Safety and Quality program to ensure it is effective in meeting internal and external customer requirements. They will also assist with communicating and implementing compliance requirements, root cause analysis and CA/PA process, and development of training programs and employee training as it relates to PS&Q. Responsibilities * Manage the continuous improvement process for internal and external nonconformances, returns, reworks and corrective and preventive actions, and the quality check systems for product and process capability performance. * Work with various departments to investigate root cause of internal and external nonconformances and collaborate with other departments to recommend actions to correct/prevent occurrences. * Support Sales team on customer visits for new opportunities, business transitions, complaint analysis and product performance. * Provide data analysis for process improvement, goal setting and root cause analysis for improving the effectiveness of the quality process to include daily, weekly and monthly reports for leadership review. * Provide support to production personnel on understanding requirements for new items and items with a complaint history. * Participate in Product Safety and Food Safety programs including internal and external audits. * Perform and lead the internal facility inspection program. * Participate in HARA program. * Maintain BRCGS quality management systems. * Conduct new hire training covering PS&Q topics. * Assist with customer compliance requests. The Quality Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's quality management systems to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations. Assist with supplier audits and vendor reviews * Serve as a member of the divisional HACCP team Qualifications * A minimum of five years of job-related experience with progressive responsibilities in quality, food safety, auditing or related discipline. Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred * Proficient knowledge of regulatory compliance including HACCP, BRCGS and related quality standards * Experience in conducting quality audits within a manufacturing setting * Excellent analytical skills for data interpretation and problem-solving * Must have strong communication skills for effective collaboration across departments and with external customers * Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently * Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills * Experience working in and applying LEAN Six Sigma concepts and participating in Kaizan events Skills & Abilities Education: Bachelor's degree in Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, Business Administration, or similar/related program required Experience: In lieu of education demonstrated related experience in a manufacturing setting may be considered. About The Opportunity The Commercial Counsel is responsible for leading the commercial contracting efforts for ORBIS Corporation and its subsidiaries (ORBIS). The Commercial Counsel will provide legal advice and guidance to business unit client groups, particularly Procurement/Sourcing, Product Management, and Sales. The Commercial Counsel may also supervise outside counsel in his/her work for the foregoing client groups. The Population Health Specialist II provides operational support for the Case, Condition Management, Quality, Wellness, Pharmacy, Government Relations, and Utilization Management Departments including requesting and extracting medical records and provider outreach for HEDIS, Health Risk Assessments, Primary Care Provider Attributions, and CIOX medical records. This role assists with supporting and monitoring compliance with CMS federal regulatory and NCQA standards related to the authorization process. About The Opportunity The Die Cutter Operator is responsible for all aspects of setting up, operating, inspecting and maintaining a die cutter machine in order to produce quality product safely and efficiently. Essential Functions: * Demonstrates commitment to safety and performs job duties in accordance with company safety policies and procedures. * Demonstrates commitment to quality and performs job duties in adherence to GMP guidelines. * Should be aware of their responsibilities and their accountability is clearly defined for key staff involved with product safety, legality, and quality systems. * Understand job ticket information to determine quantity, special work instructions, and any other special customer requirements. * Determine the best manufacturing method to produce product efficiently and effectively. * Set-up diecutter & tooling and operate die cutter. * Be able to assist other operators on 2 person make readies. * Maintain accurate counts (load and total counts). * Be able to run baler and change bales as needed. * Setup and make-ready of diecut, score, stripping, & blanking tooling if required. * Maintain supplies for department. * Pull stock for job -- wind and jog stock if needed. * Be able to operate powered pallet equipment. * Maintain high efficiency according to established rates during operation of the assigned equipment. * Maintain quality of product produced by monitoring diecutting and creasing and stripping of waste. * Troubleshoot and make decisions regarding the quality of finished product. * Complete required quality inspections and paperwork. * Work with peers and other departments to improve quality and performance. * Play an active role in the maintenance and cleanliness of the assigned press and surrounding area. * Understand department communication systems, schedules, time/attendance system and job reporting requirements. * Work throughout diecutting department running equipment as needed. * Actively participates in Lean manufacturing initiatives. * Performs other duties as assigned by management. Education/Experience: * High school diploma or equivalent desired but not required. * Previous Die Cut experience desired Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: * Safety sensitive position - ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe manner. * Ability to work overtime and weekends as required based upon the needs of the business * Ability to work on a rotating shift as needed. * Ability to effectively work in teams. * Ability to work in a production-based environment with moving equipment and people. * Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of roles Mechanical aptitude. * Ability to accurately perform basic math.
