About the Position We are looking to hire a Full Time Night shift On Call Mental Health Associate at our programs in the Lane County area, including Eugene, Springfield, and Junction City, Oregon. These position works as a member of a direct care team serving adults with severe and persistent mental illness. Primary responsibilities include supporting the development of life skills and therapeutic interventions, performing housekeeping, preparing meals, administering medication, and keeping accurate clinical documentation. In addition, you will receive crisis de-escalation training, which requires performing various physical, hands-on maneuvers and techniques. Please keep the following things in mind: On Call staff must work a minimum of 32 shift hours per month On Call staff must attend a minimum of one staff meeting per month (and clinical supervision if a QMHA) On Call staff must stay current on company training On Call staff must respond to facility requesting coverage within 2 hours of initial call. In some cases, more notice can be provided. ColumbiaCare Services is a qualifying employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program. Vocational Training Program For applicants starting as a QMHA-R, ColumbiaCare offers a Vocational Training Program to accelerate the training, on-the-job experiential learning, and testing preparation for qualified employees to achieve the 1000 supervised hours required to complete their certification as a QMHA-I. Through this program, this certification can be achieved in as little as 6 months. This is an optional program. Work Schedule: Full Time (40 hours per week), Night shifts. May include holidays and weekend shifts. What You'll Make $20.00 - $22.00 per hour DOE/Credentials. An additional $2.50 per hour night shift differential will apply during the work hours of 10:00pm - 6:00am. Additional 5% Language Differential offered for Bilingual or Multilingual candidates (Spanish/English desired). What You'll Need Must be eligible for Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA) registration. Eligibility requires 1 out of 3 Criteria below: Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science: Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Human Development, or related field; OR minimum three (3) years of verifiable behavioral health experience working with individuals with behavioral health needs in a supervised setting; OR equivalent combination of behavioral science education in addition to satisfactory supplemental behavioral health experience and training If not already registered as a QMHA through the Mental Health & Addiction Certification Board of Oregon (MHACBO), we will assist you in registering within 30 days of hire. Vocational Training Program: Employees in the optional Vocational Training Program will have additional training expectations to meet the requirements for QMHA testing. Follows client policies in the management of significant mental illness including prevention of violence, homicide, self-harm and suicide. Applies patient-specific knowledge to monitor and control stress levels and provide emotional support and counseling to patients. Coordinates psychiatric care needs of patients including referrals to off-site consultants. Solicits and reviews pertinent psychiatric records as indicated. Adheres to universal precautions. May serve as medical escort of patients as needed, for domestic/overseas travel.     Classification: Full-Time, Exempt Supervisor: Medical Director This is a professional position that plays a key role in the delivery of services and support to children and their non-offending family members impacted by child maltreatment and other traumas. Principle responsibilities include but not limited to: Provision of strengths-based and trauma-focused mental health services to children and non-offending family members. Provide mental health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of children referred for concerns of child maltreatment or other trauma. This may include using telehealth platforms to deliver care. Provide case management for clients, including liaising with community partners such as law enforcement, the Department of Human Services and school personnel Maintain client records according to organizational, state, and federal guidelines, including billing information, client demographics, and outcomes across all platforms Participate in regularly scheduled clinical supervision and communicate with supervisor on clinical issues related to clients as needed. Attend weekly Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) Review meetings, provide consultation on case staffing when appropriate, and provide consulting services for MDT members on individual cases as requested. Represent the ABC House counseling department and coordinate with other community agencies such as System of Care, YST, Regional CAC providers, etc. Manage policies, procedures, and protocols and supervise other therapists to ensure compliance. Coordinate with other CACs for case consultation and lead consultation upon hiring of other therapists. Adheres to the National Childrens Alliance (NCA) standards. Other duties as assigned. Additional Duties: Provide oversight to MH contractors and interns as assigned. Contribute to the overall strategy and development of the mental health program. Accurately track and manage counseling data. Oversee administration of client and family surveys Collaborate with cross-functional teams to keep programs, protocols and initiatives current and relevant. Manage budget and determine necessary trainings/resources needed for department. Other duties as assigned. Skills and Qualifications: Masters degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or other field that qualifies the candidate to be a licensed professional counselor, clinical social worker, psychologist, or marriage and family counselor in the state of Oregon. Licensed professional counselor, licensed marriage and family counselor, licensed clinical social worker, or with an active plan to become licensed in the state of Oregon. Experience providing mental health care at the QMHP or QMHA level preferred (including internship and practicum experience) in an outpatient mental health facility, hospital, residential or day-treatment setting providing counseling services to children, adolescents and families, specifically with trauma-informed practices. Experience delivering trauma-focused treatment modalities to children, such as TF-CBT, EMDR or PCIT, or willingness to receive training in trauma focused treatments. Strong ability to develop rapport with non-offending family members and flexibility to meet their needs. Knowledge of child abuse issues and laws preferred. Strong computer skills, including demonstrated experience with electronic health records, word processing and data entry, Telemental-health experience preferred.
