Qualifications
Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from a program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) required

Support Circle of Life's Bereavement Services program by providing counseling services to those suffering from grief associated with the loss (or anticipated loss) of a loved one. May see clients of all ages and backgrounds.
Requires LMSW or LCSW certification through state of Arkansas without restrictions. Minimum of one year related clinical experience in a hospice, medical or mental health setting. Responsible for completion and documentation of intakes, initial assessments, diagnostic assessment, and biopsychosocial assessments.

Responsible for direct supervision of QBHP's assigned to case load.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & BASIC DUTIES
Completes an Intake and Assessment for each potential client being assessed for counseling/psychotherapy.
Develops an individualized psychotherapy treatment plan for medically necessary services. This treatment plan will be based on the results of the diagnostic assessment, clinical observations of the client and/or family, and input of the Medical Director and Clinical Director.
Reviews and updates psychotherapy treatment plan in the format and time frames outlined in the ACCESS Clinical Documentation policy and procedure.
Conducts counseling/psychotherapy services with identified clients as indicated and/or prescribed. These services may include but are not limited to individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, psychoeducation, collateral intervention, crisis intervention, and crisis stabilization. Explanations for missed sessions are documented.
Makes every effort to work with the family/caregiver in scheduling family therapy sessions as indicated and works with the family/caregiver to overcome obstacles to their participation in treatment when possible.
Accurately documents interventions and services provided in detail (both billable and nonbillable) in the format and time frames outlined in the ACCESS Clinical Documentation policy and procedure
Completes other required documentation using either de Taso or paper documentation, as appropriate.
Completes a written discharge summary when a client is discharged from counseling/psychotherapy.
Attends and actively participates in job-related functions such as department and team meetings, parent conferences, peer reviews, workshops, and mandatory trainings.

Position Overview
Overall responsibilities include assessment and treatment of mental illness through a combination of evaluations and medication management. Works collaboratively with the Medical Director. This individual provides safe, effective, and compassionate care that is consistent with State and Federal regulations and Company policies, procedures, and guidelines and within his/her scope of practice. This is an in-person position at the Alleviant Jonesboro clinic.
Essential Job Functions
Gathers and maintains patient information and health history.
Conducts assessments, interviews, and observations.
Analyzes and evaluates patient data and findings and diagnose nature and condition of mental disorder.
Offers and performs medication management, infusions, transcranial magnetic stimulation, and psychotherapy to patients.
Prepares and maintains confidential records and reports.
Ensures treatment plans are devised, updated and conducted.
Works in collaboration the medical director and/or Chief Medical Officer to develop treatment plans,
Monitors the use of medications.
Advises families on condition and treatment.
Refers clients to community resources or specialists as necessary.
Evaluates effectiveness of treatment regimen and client's progress.
Learns new developments in the fields of study through professional literature, attending courses, and maintaining contact with other social service agencies.
Provides consultation to other professions engaging psychological approach.
Organizes community education workshops in the facility and attends selected local community programs.
Builds referral base by visiting with local providers.
Participates in educational outreach activities, such as, provider luncheons.
Provides industry relevant tips for the facility newsletter and community blog.
Follows company policies and CDC guidelines for infection control.
Provides patient education and answers questions from prospective patients and referring physicians.
Enforces all HIPAA compliance guidelines.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Physical Demands
Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
Requires ability to work under stressful situations demanding high concentration and energy level.

Knowledge of healthcare industry - Health Plan, MSO, CMS, Federal regulations.

Educational and Experience Requirements
Hold a degree as a PMHNP - Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at the level needed to assess and prescribe medication collaboratively with a psychiatrist as determined by the State Board of Nursing.
Be licensed as a psychiatric APRN with 2 years outpatient/inpatient experience as a PMHNP-BC
Current APRN license in good standing.
Excellent clinician with a minimum of 2 year of clinical and administrative experience.
Board certified
BLS
ACLS
Job ContextFacility work hours are Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm; however, individual schedules may vary. Individual responsibilities are mostly limited to providing clients outstanding, satisfactory services. Additionally, contributing to the corporate culture and activities are expected. The atmosphere is positive, encouraging, and teamwork oriented.
