The Alternative Placement Adolescent Center (APAC) is a 24/7 facility. Candidates must have the ability to work a flexible schedule (days, evening, weekends). SUMMARY: The Youth Care Worker is responsible for the daily operation, direct supervision of the residents in the APAC shelter. The Youth Care Worker shall provide a safe, secure, and caring environment for up to 8 gender specific youth within a 24/7/365 work environment. They will work a scheduled shift and be on a "On Call" rotated list to accommodate staff sick calls and facility emergencies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following for a Youth Care Worker. Other duties may be assigned.
Admission- Obtain paperwork, from the referral source, properly and properly use a case management system. Collect and inventory all personal property, fully understand the process of admission. Complete admission paperwork as set out by licensing requirements (PRLU) and facility guidelines.
Facility Functions- shall be able to use and understand all building functions of in the facility for safety and activity purposes.
Supervision of Youth - must maintain a reasonable line of sight and hearing of the youth based on their needs and circumstances. Youth shall be properly supervised 24 /7 according to licensing standards and assist with their basic needs (physical, emotional, and spiritual).
Transportation of Residents- must maintain a respectful driving record to be determined by the administrative team. Required at times to take and return youth to their appointments as directed.
Maintenance of Residents and Facility- shall ensure all facility conditions are safe and healthy. Shall ensure the youth are provided a minimum of 3 balanced meals daily and additional snacks and beverages according to licensing standards.

Position Summary:
The Community Programs Internship in the Learning and Education department at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art is designed to provide an overview of the skills and responsibilities needed for community building, socially engaged arts practices, arts administration, and production for a range of audiences for a museum setting and in local communities. The internship will include administrative, arts producing, and teaching experiences with diverse audiences.
The intern will assist with several programs including the CB to You: Mobile Art Lab that travels to libraries, afterschool programs, and neighborhood festivals, as well as supporting audience outreach and community group visits. The intern will assist with organizing kits from assembly, ordering supplies and contacting community partners to arrange delivery to the organization's location. They will conduct online research about community programs at other museums and enhance accessibility across the institution by writing and reviewing verbal descriptions of artworks and captions for videos.
The intern is part of the Community Engagement department and team, which may require additional program assistance as needed for the four pillars, as well as participation in team meetings and ideation sessions. There are several professional development opportunities throughout the summer cohort and opportunities to learn about various museum departments through lunch and learns and other programs with fellow interns.

A school district employed mentalhealthcounselor is responsible for providing counseling, therapeutic services, and support services to a diverse caseload of students who may experience mentalhealth issues, behavioral challenges, or traumatic experiences. Work collaboratively with school-based counseling services, or other outside agencies for the benefit of the district's students.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Establish positive, trusting rapport with clients, families, and school staff.
Assess clients mental condition based on review of client information, interviews, observation, and evaluation, as well as in crisis and determine collaboration with other staff members or outside agencies.
Create individualized plans according to patient needs and circumstances.
Meet regularly with clients to provide counseling treatment.
Conduct ongoing assessments and evaluations of client progress both inside and outside of the classroom and adjust plans as necessary.
Involve, collaborate, and advise family members when appropriate.
Serve as a client advocate to coordinate required services, or to resolve emergency problems in crisis situations.
Follow all safety protocols and maintain client confidentiality.
Collaborate with other stakeholders to provide support for students and staff in various learning environments throughout the school district.
Promote the district's vision and mission.
Keep an accurate record of all counseling and guidance activities.
Analyze data to determine program effectiveness and identify program needs.
