Now Hiring: EMHS MentalHealth Services Support Specialist/TSW-III We are currently looking for a qualified, full-time, Enhanced MentalHealth Services Support Specialist/TSW-III to join our residential team. The Enhanced MentalHealth Services (EMHS) Support Specialist/Team Support Worker-III will be responsible for providing a large variety of services ranging from behavior management, crisis intervention, self-help skill building, and other services as needed. Other duties include but are not limited to:
Assist in the delivery of intensive, individualized, strength-based, and needs-driven intervention activities that support the engagement and participation of the youth and his/her significant support persons, and help the child or youth develop skills and achieve the goals and objectives of their plan.
Assist with interventions which are skill-based and for the remediation of behaviors and reduction of symptoms.
Some examples include implementation of a positive behavioral plan, modeling interventions for the youth's family/care givers.
Assists licensed/waivered professional staff in assessments and treatment planning; may plan and implement specific aspects under supervision.
Provide 1:1 behavior intervention for clients based on client's treatment plan.
Regularly communicate/consult with Youths' therapist, Clients' treatment team, regarding client's behavior, progress, and treatment goals.
Participate in child/family team meetings. Maintain children in supervision at all times, focusing on behavior, safety, and general well-being.
Promote growth and development in the children and assist them in reaching goals in accordance with their treatment plan.
Initiate incident reports concerning behavioral problems, injuries, or accidents; provide complete and accurate documentation including dorm logs and other reports as assigned.
Drive a vehicle when necessary.
Additionally, when scheduled to serve as TSW-III (as part of supervision ratio), TSW-III shall provide/assist with EMHS Support Services only in the absence of scheduled EMHSS staff, and only to youth who are in need of immediate 1:1 behavior intervention, based on youth's treatment plan and ability, and only as long as the dorm remains in ratio. This determination will be made by the TSW-III in cooperation with the Dorm Supervisor on duty.
Skills/Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in the Social/Behavioral Sciences required. One to two years of experience preferred.
Demonstrated ability and leadership through a minimum of two years related experience in the field of child or family welfare services.
Must be proficient in the use of computers, including Email, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
Should have a special interest in working with youth and must fulfill the general requirements as established in the California Administrative Code, Title 22.
Writing and verbal skills and the ability to compose quality reports and other necessary correspondence are essential.
Must communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing in English.
Must be 21 years of age or older and able to pass a physical examination; drug clearance; criminal background check and Child Abuse Index check.
Must possess a valid California driver's license with clean DMV history and the ability to safely operate a motor vehicle and be insurable by Trinity's insurance carrier.
Pay rate: $19.50 per hour; $20.50 per hour (bilingual Spanish). Quarterly and annual performance bonus available.

The Mobile Crisis Outreach Team responds 7 days a week from 7:30pm to 8:30am, broken down by flexible shifts. The Mobile Crisis Outreach Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor II or III (CADC), will respond, in person, to provide timely support including crisis stabilization, safety planning, assessment for danger to self/ others, and gravely disabled write 51/50 holds as needed and provide follow up support. Utilizing the Mobile Crisis Outreach Program vehicle to respond to calls, this role co-responds with a Mobile Crisis Outreach Program Peer Support Specialist and is an integral part of the Sycamores larger Mobile Crisis Outreach Program including close partnership with the 988 call center, Riverside County Dispatch Center, police, sheriff, psychiatric hospitals and ambulance transport companies.
The Mobile Crisis Outreach Department evaluates the individual experiencing a “mentalhealth crisis” out in the field and takes measures to ensure the individuals safety (i.e., Evaluates if the individual requires involuntary hospitalization to ensure their safety). The Mobile Crisis Outreach Program CADC II or III takes the lead on care coordination and works collaboratively with the Mobile Crisis Outreach Program Peer Support Specialist to coordinate care i.e., locate hospitals, ambulances, housing, etc.). The Mobile Crisis Outreach Program responds to an individual's need for in-person evaluation for safety within specified geographical area (i.e., Desert, Mid-County and Western Regions.)
Starting Pay Range:
$70,304 - $74,000 per year for Full-Time employment (starting pay will be based on previous work experience and educational background.)
Shift Schedule: Wednesday-Saturday 6 pm - 4 am
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Certified in the State of California as Level II or Level III Alcohol and Drug counselor required.
Certification with one of State of California's approved Alcohol & Drug agencies (CCAPP, CAADE, CADTP) required.
Must maintain relevant Certification as a condition of employment.
2 + years of successful certification and experience preferred.

How you will make a difference:
The mentalHealth Specialist assesses clients at start of treatment (reviews as needed), develops and maintains treatment plans, and conducts family collateral and discharge planning. Duties include discussing goals and objectives of proposed treatment plans and establishing a contract with the consumer. Interviewing consumers to team with mentalhealth professionals in determining the needs of individuals or groups on a walk-in/telephone basis; respond to potential suicide or other emergency events. Visit clients, individually or as part of a team, in a variety of living situations, to help assess the mentalhealth needs of individuals and families, observe progress, provide counseling, gather data, and report significant changes in the client's condition to designated professional staff.

The Enhanced MentalHealth Services (EMHS) Support Specialist/Team Support Worker-III will be responsible for providing a large variety of services ranging from behavior management, crisis intervention, self-help skill building, and other services as needed. Other duties include but are not limited to:
Assist in the delivery of intensive, individualized, strength-based, and needs-driven intervention activities that support the engagement and participation of the youth and his/her significant support persons, and help the child or youth develop skills and achieve the goals and objectives of their plan.
Assist with interventions which are skill-based and for the remediation of behaviors and reduction of symptoms.
Some examples include implementation of a positive behavioral plan, modeling interventions for the youth's family/care givers.
Assists licensed/waivered professional staff in assessments and treatment planning; may plan and implement specific aspects under supervision.
Provide 1:1 behavior intervention for clients based on client's treatment plan.
Regularly communicate/consult with Youths' therapist, Clients' treatment team, regarding client's behavior, progress, and treatment goals.

Additionally, when scheduled to serve as TSW-III (as part of supervision ratio), TSW-III shall provide/assist with EMHS Support Services only in the absence of scheduled EMHSS staff, and only to youth who are in need of immediate 1:1 behavior intervention, based on youth's treatment plan and ability, and only as long as the dorm remains in ratio. This determination will be made by the TSW-III in cooperation with the Dorm Supervisor on duty.
Skills/Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in the Social/Behavioral Sciences required. One to two years of experience preferred.
Demonstrated ability and leadership through a minimum of two years related experience in the field of child or family welfare services.
Must be proficient in the use of computers, including Email, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
Should have a special interest in working with youth and must fulfill the general requirements as established in the California Administrative Code, Title 22.
Writing and verbal skills and the ability to compose quality reports and other necessary correspondence are essential.
Must communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing in English.
Must be 21 years of age or older and able to pass a physical examination; drug clearance; criminal background check and Child Abuse Index check.
Must possess a valid California driver's license with clean DMV history and the ability to safely operate a motor vehicle and be insurable by Trinity's insurance carrier.

Additional duties consist of assisting with visitation monitoring, dressing, grooming and hygiene, tutoring, and moving or lifting furniture up to 25lbs.Must be patient and understanding of the challenging behaviors of emotionally disturbed children. Understand that childcare workers might be subjected to a variety of stressful situations, name calling, yelling, or physical aggression. Key Responsibilities
Ensure the completion of patient databases, treatment plans, progress notes, discharge summaries, and other essential documentation in accordance with applicable federal and state standards and agency policies and procedures.
Provide patients with orientation regarding objectives of the program, phase system requirements, rules and regulations, sanctions, hours of services, patient rights, and additional information to help patients adjust to the program.
Assure each patient is assessed and placed according to the treatment phases in accordance with Federal and State standards and agency policies.
Assure all clinical documentation and patient charts updated in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Counsel patients in crisis situations by identifying patient resources and coping abilities to help patients cope with and resolve crisis.
Counsel patients who have refused to comply with specific program requirements to increase patient awareness of consequences of noncompliance.
Arrange referrals to other agencies and resources in the community when appropriate.
Participate in case conferences and case reviews in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Review counselor documentation and sign off on documentation as directed by the Clinical Supervisor or Clinic Director.
Assist with the overall direction and development of all substance abuse services.
Participate in treatment team meetings and grievance hearings as needed.
Conduct/assist with weekly staff meetings with the counseling team.
Conduct/assist with ongoing review of counselor's case files to ensure compliance with Federal, State and PTC requirements.
Assist Clinical Supervisor/Director with annual performance reviews of the counseling staff.
Assist Clinical Supervisor/Clinical Director as needed in state and CARF inspections, staff meetings and other areas.
Assist with in‑service training to clinical teammates on regularly scheduled basis.
Monitors clinical records regularly for quality and compliance with State and Federal regulations. Conducts mock inspections.
Perform intakes on new patients.
Develop preliminary and comprehensive treatment plans.
Provides training and technical assistance to community agencies as requested.
Provides guidance to counselors in managing difficult or complex patients.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files on each patient on their caseload and team caseload per federal, state and PTC requirements.
Oversees substance abuse counseling case assignments and discharges.
Attend team meetings and complete all training courses timely as required.
Attend ongoing training per program/Federal/ State requirements.
Other duties as assigned.
Pay Range
$28 per hour to $32 per hour
Qualifications
Possess certification as an Alcohol and Other Drug Counselor with a CA approved certification agency or current credentials as licensed or license‑eligible with the Board of Behavioral Sciences or the Board of Psychology.
If license‑eligible, must maintain the Board's requirements to be able to practice including receiving the necessary amount of clinical supervision by a Board approved supervisor.
Proof of licensure or certification by a State approved regulatory agency is required immediately once employed. Employees must be credentialed prior to providing any counseling services per the DHCS (Department of Health Care Services). Qualifications and the review of support documentation will be evaluated for approval.

The 988 hotline will provide initial phone support to all callers and triage calls to the Sycamores Mobile Crisis Outreach Program for in-person support. The Mobile Crisis Outreach Team responds 7 days a week from 7:30pm to 8:30am, broken down by flexible shifts. The Mobile Crisis Outreach Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor II or III (CADC), will respond, in person, to provide timely support including crisis stabilization, safety planning, assessment for danger to self/ others, and gravely disabled write51/50 holds as needed and provide follow up support. Utilizing the Mobile Crisis Outreach Program vehicle to respond to calls, this role co-responds with a Mobile Crisis Outreach Program Peer Support Specialist and is an integral part of the Sycamores larger Mobile Crisis Outreach Program including close partnership with the 988 call center, Riverside County Dispatch Center, police, sheriff, psychiatric hospitals and ambulance transport companies.
The Mobile Crisis Outreach Department evaluates the individual experiencing a “mentalhealth crisis” out in the field and takes measures to ensure the individuals safety (i.e., Evaluates if the individual requires involuntary hospitalization to ensure their safety). The Mobile Crisis Outreach Program CADC II or III takes the lead on care coordination and works collaboratively with the Mobile Crisis Outreach Program Peer Support Specialist to coordinate care i.e., locate hospitals, ambulances, housing, etc.). The Mobile Crisis Outreach Program responds to an individual's need for in-person evaluation for safety within specified geographical area (i.e., Desert, Mid-County and Western Regions.)
Starting Pay Range:
$70,304 - $74,000 per year for Full-Time employment (starting pay will be based on previous work experience and educational background.) There will be an additional $4,160 per year overnight differential.
Shift Schedule: Tuesday - Friday 10:30 pm - 8:30 am
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
