A Brief Overview:
As a MentalHealth Assessment Specialist I, you will serve as an integral member of our Behavioral Health Services team, conducting assessments and evaluations of patients' mentalhealth conditions. You will work closely with clinicians, patients, and families to provide critical insights and recommendations for treatment and care.
What you will do:
Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of patients' mentalhealth status using standardized assessment tools and clinical interviews.
Collect and analyze relevant patient information, including medical history, social factors, and environmental factors.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to formulate accurate diagnostic impressions and treatment recommendations.

Your Role

Qualifications
Master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related human services field is required within six (6) months of hire.

Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
Valid driver's license and documentation of current auto insurance, with an acceptable motor vehicle report.

The MentalHealth Support Specialist position may include the following, as well as other duties assigned:
Perform all work in a manner consistent with the National Youth Advocate Programs mission, values, and philosophies.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with mentalhealth experience
Ability to relate therapeutically with customers, display cultural sensitivity and a strong sense of empathy.
Knowledge of Medicaid Rules and other funder expectations.
Knowledge of psychiatric diagnosis and recognizes signs/symptoms of psychiatric illness and substance related diagnoses.
Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, automotive insurance requirement 100,000/300,000 bodily injury, and a good driving record.
Capacity to remain objective and professional in all areas of job function.
Ability to organize data, plan, provide written and very feedback, utilize electronic health systems.
Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, smartphones and tablets, printers, fax machines and photocopiers as well as software including word processing, spreadsheet and database programs.

Requirements
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Master's in social work, psychology, counseling, or other equivalent.
Experience providing counseling in a youth-centered work setting (minimum of 2 years of supervised experience in a relevant setting).
Outstanding counseling and casework skills.
Experience in and passion for youth services.
Excellent communication skills, ability to build relationships of mutual trust and respect with youth, colleagues, school professionals, and community members.
Experience with data collection and proficiency in using technology as a management reporting tool.

Our Camp Counselor positions have the potential to serve as competitively paid internships that meet your course credit needs.
First and foremost, your primary responsibilities will be as a Camp Counselor. As an Intern, you will be expected to fulfill your regular daily job responsibilities and it will be up to you to complete your internship responsibilities and to ensure that they do not interfere with your work obligations. Contact your college advisor in advance and ask them if you can use your summer camp job as a practicum, internship or for other course credits. If KE Camps can meet your internship requirements, your on-site Camp Director will be your field supervisor and oversee your course work. You will also be connected to a KE Camps contact at our HQ in Skillman, NJ. To receive credit, you must complete the course, practicum or internship per your college's parameters and complete your summer employment.
As a Camp Counselor, you will be an active participant in all camp activities and will assist your Camp Director with a variety of daily tasks, all with the goal of creating a memorable and meaningful camp experience for your campers. Our Counselors interact with our campers throughout the entire day, helping them make friends, try new things, and generally caring for their well-being. The role of a Counselor is to participate, build relationships and have fun while ensuring the physical and emotional safety of every child.
