Easterseals PORT Health (ESPH) is seeking a Licensed Substance Abuse Counselor to join our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team. Community Impact: Deliver vital substance use interventions, helping clients rebuild their lives while addressing substance use and mental health challenges. Collaborative Support: Work alongside a skilled team of psychiatrists, nurses, therapists, and other mental health professionals ensuring clients receive holistic care. Empowerment & Advocacy: Be a voice for clients, ensuring their needs are met with compassion and respect. Professional Growth: Receive up to $65/week for licensure supervision, ongoing training, and career development opportunities. What You'll Do: Conduct substance use assessments and provide individual and group interventions. Facilitate access to recovery resources, including 12-step programs. Collaborate with the ACT team to develop tailored treatment plans. Participate in daily team meetings to ensure quality service delivery. Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Welligent EMR. Offer on-call crisis intervention services as part of a rotating schedule. Qualifications: Certified as a CADC or CCS, or provisionally or fully licensed as a LCAS/A in NC. Comfortable working in community settings with a valid driver's license.
