Essential functions and responsibilities:
Ensures all patients have current assessments and treatment plans per regulatory requirements and that services are in line and authorized by assessment and treatment plan.

Promotes awareness of the Organizations operating practices and upholds Atlantis policies.
Meets with the team as designated by Chief of PSR.
Staffs with Chief Medical Officer or Chief of PSR when clinical issues are identified.
Ensures that minimum hours are met for all patients assigned.
Complies with 24-hour lag time on all documentation.
Specific Equipment and Materials to be used: Personal vehicles may be used for consumer visits; use of company vehicles when possible. Personal laptops and phone may be used as well. Gas stipend provided.
Education:Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Behavioral Health field, which includes human services/or behavioral sciences related (psychology, sociology, social work) field from an accredited college or university.
Experience and Training: 1 year of successful part-time or full-time case management experience in Behavioral Health Services Prefer bilingual English/Spanish. Requires a valid driver license with a safe driving record along with proof of a current and valid auto insurance card.
Physical activities/Physical demands:Sitting 2/3 of time. Stand, walk, bend, stoop, and kneel, reach with hands and arms, twist at the waist, push and/or pull less than 1/3 of time. Lift and carry maximum of 35 pounds

Job Summary:
The Child & Family Protection Specialist (CFPCS) provides secure and humane treatment and service to Unaccompanied Children (UAC) and/or families, while accompanying them on domestic or international flights and/or via ground transportation to facilities all over the country. During these trips, the CFPCS use their language skills to communicate in a way that is culturally sensitive, while fostering a safe and comfortable environment.
The CFPCS follows and complies with Standard Operating Procedures in accordance with contract requirements; secures UAC and/or families personal property, to include any medication, if needed. The CFPCS is responsible for providing an orientation to the UAC and/or families, maintains constant line of sight and sound, and sets behavioral expectations. The CFPCS reports on trip progress and enters each milestone at the beginning of each trip, during the trip, and at the end of each trip.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Responsible for the safe and secure transportation of unaccompanied minor(s) and/or families in a humane manner and in accordance with MVM's and customer's established policies and Standard Operating Procedures.
Responsible for picking up UACs and families at different location points and transporting them to final destinations in a safe and efficient manner.
Provides orientation to all minors and/or families in a language they understand, explaining the transportation process and answering questions.
Maintain current training and certification requirements in accordance with state and ICE/ERO standards.
Reviews all documentation to ensure it contains all information needed for travel.
Follow property and tag process, ensuring all required documents are accurately prepared and completed.
Completes, verifies, and provides required documentation to approved parties.
Must be able to de-escalate, in both controlled and uncontrolled situations with uncooperative individuals.
Provides approved clothing, hygiene supplies, meals, snacks, water, and drinks for the minors and/or families for the duration of the assignment.
Completes applicable inspections, to include vehicle safety and security inspections.
Must follow Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines as required.
Ensures the safety of all passengers during the transport; responsible for ensuring all occupants wear seatbelts.
Ensures car seat and/or booster seat is properly installed prior to a minor entering the vehicle.
Must maintain “line of sight and sound” supervision of each minor and/or families during transport.
Logs transportation details in MVM's proprietary system, such as medication, meals, communication, delays, etc. in milestones at the beginning, during and end of transport.
Reports into the Command Center/Shared Services and Site at established check points and provides updates on any changes, disruptions, or concerns throughout the transportation route.
Records medication for minors in milestones, if applicable, to include the type of medication, the number of times the medication is administered throughout the transport and any irregularities.
Reports all emergency situations following company's SOP and processes.
Conduct a headcount of all customers before departure, during transit, and after each stop as required.
Maintain a constant line of sight with assigned individuals for the full duration of each assignment.
Performs program-specific duties involving the use of force and restraints, as per SOP guidelines.
Must follow all pick-up and escort procedures; conduct pat-down searches as required for each assignment.
Ensure compliance with safety and security protocols at all times.
Maintains close communication with Command Center/Shared Services, and Site leadership during travel.
Provide coaching as needed; act as a mentor and resource for recently hired staff, offering guidance on company policies, procedures, and best practices.
Must be available to support out-of-state assignments and Temporary Duty (TDY) assignments as required by organization needs.
Must be able to travel on short notice and on a frequent basis, both domestically and internationally, via air and/or ground transportation.
Must maintain readiness to perform assigned responsibilities at temporary duty locations.
Stand or walk on various surfaces for extended periods of time.
Frequently lift/carry luggage or other items overhead weighing up to 40 lbs.
Drive a 15-passenger van (also known as a commercial motor vehicle) as needed based on operational needs.

Minimum Qualifications & Skills:

Major/Essential Functions
* Under direction of the TCHATT Psychiatrist, program director, or designee, provides evidence based psychotherapy to identified TCHATT program participants in the region, in person and via telemedicine.
* Responds to initial assessment inquiry and coordinates care with clinical support team as needed.
* Coordinates with school counselor, admin, child, and guardian/parent during scheduled appointment; in person and telemedicine.
* Maintain and demonstrate knowledge of services available and provide information and referral as a part of continuity of care.
* Employee may provide presentations on the TCHATT Program, referral process, and resources. Provide support to triage team for TCHATT program.
* Completes evaluation at intake and develops an individualized treatment plan for TCHATT Participants. Provide brief time limited services through evidenced based psychotherapy. Collaborate with community agencies and providers to ensure access for service in line with Individual Treatment Plans.
* Maintain positive community relationship to ensure accurate referral access. Obtain all necessary authorization to provide services. 100% of all services will have proper authorization on file.
* Performs all other related duties, within the scope of practice, on an as needed basis or as required by Supervisor.
* Employee Is responsible for performing all other related duties, as assigned.
* Standard of Expected Performance. Adhere to deadline and criteria given by the person assigning the task to ensure completion of such: No more than 2 complaints annually regarding poor service.
* Communication: Communicates respectfully with team members and supervisor in a timely manner utilizing direct, complete, and adequate information.
* Communicates with outside social service and government agencies in a professional manner, upholding and adhering to privacy standards on behalf of the patients.
* Communicates effectively and productively with patients' family members as needed and permitted based on current policies. When problems arise they are addressed directly with the person(s) involved or speaks with their supervisor exclusively.
* Receives and is open to constructive feedback. Seeks feedback from others to improve clinical practice and safety. As evidenced by expressed, demonstrated and written evidence of direct, respectful, complete and adequate communication with colleagues and supervisors. And as evidenced by direct problem resolution with supervisors and colleagues and constructive response to feedback from supervisor and colleagues regarding safety, clinical and organizational.
* Coordinates and maintains filing / record keeping systems. Files and or records are easily accessed and in organized for easy retrieval of information. Uses TTUHSC EMR for record keeping and Trayt for statewide reporting.
* Remains current with all licensure, certifications and mandatory compliances and trainings required of this position.
* Adhere to all TTUHSCEP policies, procedures and processes.
* Personally demonstrate, display, and act in accordance with TTUHSCEP values (Service, Respect, Accountability, Integrity, Advancement, and Teamwork).
