This position supports the consumer products business unit within the Disney Experiences segment of The Walt Disney Company and primarily supports DCP's Branded Retail Businesses. In this role, the successful candidate would provide legal support for DCP's retail (including licensed retail), ecommerce, and wholesale businesses, including but not limited to: store operations, loss prevention, risk management, sourcing and procurement, and supply chain/logistics. As such, the successful candidate must be comfortable with handling diverse legal, regulatory, and compliance issues, and have the judgment to know when to elevate issues to senior attorneys in the department and legal subject matter experts. The successful candidate must also be adept at briefing business clients at all levels, including executives, on complex legal issues.
What You Will Do
Draft and negotiate a wide variety of contracts in support of store operations, sourcing and procurement, and supply chain/logistics
Provide legal support related to product development and product integrity matters for Disney Store merchandise, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and company policy
Advise on loss prevention and risk management matters and strategies and support related investigations or compliance efforts as needed
Draft and negotiate technology and ecommerce agreements, including SaaS agreements, to support various aspects of website functionality, logistics, performance metrics, user interface, microsites, and third‑party quality/assurance testing
Provide legal support for the Guest Services and Asset Protection teams
Work closely with and advise business units on a range of business issues, including assessing options and risks associated with each option
Assist with the management of claims and litigation
Draft, update, and improve contract templates
Collaborate with subject‑matter experts within Disney (e.g., privacy, tax, intellectual property, technology, product integrity/safety and international labor standards)
Perform such other responsibilities as may be deemed necessary in support of the Consumer Products segment of Disney Experiences, such as legal support for synergistic marketing
Required Qualifications & Skills
At least 8 years of significant relevant legal experience, preferably in retail or consumer products industries
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment and build interdepartmental relationships at all levels
Demonstrated ability to think strategically, identify and analyze complex issues, assess potential risk and impact and devise creative solutions and strategies
Must have a commercial and solution‑oriented mind‑set, and must be willing to take ownership of projects and think proactively
Ability to evaluate and reconcile issues from both a business unit and enterprise level perspective
Exceptional organizational, prioritization, and time management skills with the ability to work under deadlines and execute efficiently against multiple, high‑priority and high‑volume projects with limited supervision

Compensation
The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $212,000.00 to $274,200.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long‑term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.

Job Description
Job Summary
The MentalHealth Specialist works as a team member multi-disciplinary homeless street outreach team, in collaboration with social service professionals, ensuring the delivery of quality care in accordance to the rules and regulations established by the Los Angeles Department of Health Services for contracted agencies, as well as adhering to the mission of St. Joseph Center. The E6 MDT MentalHealth Specialist will use the “whatever it takes” approach and strong clinical lens to help people experiencing homelessness get connected to resources, and mentalhealth supportive services, in order to obtain permanent housing.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The MentalHealth Specialist's key areas of responsibility include:
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Provide street based outreach, navigation, and mentalhealth support to individuals experiencing homelessness.
Provide support and assistance to clients with accessing resources in the community. Establish and maintain professional and positive relationships with staff, clients, and community providers.
Provide mentalhealth assessment and interventions to the severe and persistently mentally ill.
Link clients to appropriate bridge/interim housing programs and assist them in completing required paperwork in order to enroll them in permanent housing programs.
Participate in staff meetings, trainings, conferences, program evaluation and program development.
Essential Duties:
Implement case management service plan goals, emphasizing coordinated strategies for addressing mentalhealth/substance abuse issues, relapse prevention, medication management, and any other risk factors that could impede permanent housing and provide ongoing assessment of client progress in attaining goals.
Build trust and rapport with individuals experiencing homelessness. Assess homeless individuals utilizing the DSM-V.
Utilize a harm reduction model when working with clients with chemical dependency or abuse issues.
Link clients to appropriate bridge/interim housing programs and assist them in completing required paperwork in order to enroll them in permanent housing-related programs.
Keep highly organized files for each client and enter appropriate data into the region's Homeless Management Information System (HMIS).
Assist clients to enroll in mainstream benefits and obtain identification (i.e. California Driver's License, Social Security Card).
Must be able to operate a motor vehicle to perform the essential functions of the position, which includes transporting clients in company vehicles.
Provide bus tokens, bus passes, taxi vouchers, and/or direct transportation as needed.
Perform daily follow-ups and wellness checks on existing clients and on all new referrals.
Participate in SPA 5 case conferencing meetings and other community meetings.
Coordinate with other outreach teams in joint outreach efforts and attend to special requests from the Coordinated Entry Systems Team.

Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Must be highly motivated and a self-starter. The ability to communicate with and relate to a diverse group of people including clients, community, and other staff. Must have excellent organizational skills and the capability to work in a fast paced environment.
Strong knowledge of homeless services and resources. Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Harm Reduction, Motivational Interviewing, Housing First, and Critical Time Intervention.
Experience:
Two years' experience providing street-based services to highly vulnerable populations.
Demonstrate experience with providing mentalhealth assessments using diagnostic criteria from the DSM-V
Education:
Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in social work, human services or a related field.
Direct Reports:
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Computer Skills:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The essential functions include:
* Provide flexible, MHRS coverage across all DTI sites to support higher census cohorts, acuity needs, and staffing gaps, ensuring continuity of care and program stability.
* Facilitate and co-facilitate therapeutic, skills-based, and psychoeducational groups across DTI programs as assigned, with the ability to step in on short notice to maintain group schedules.
* Deliver targeted MHRS and case management support for individuals or cohorts requiring additional intervention, stabilization, or follow-up beyond routine programming.
* Support all DTI sites with timely, accurate, and clinically appropriate documentation, including daily progress notes, group notes, and linkage documentation in alignment with Medi-Cal and contract requirements.
* Provide structured mentalhealth rehabilitation and skill-building services to DTI clients, including individual and group-based interventions focused on symptom management, coping skills, emotional regulation, social skills, and daily functioning, in accordance with the client's treatment plan.
* Facilitate and document rehabilitative group activities and therapeutic milieu interventions during scheduled DTI program hours, ensuring active engagement and client presence requirements are met.
* Deliver collateral and rehabilitative services as appropriate, including coordination with families, caregivers, schools, and community supports to reinforce skill generalization and community reintegration.
* Provide targeted case management and service coordination support under clinical direction, including assistance with discharge planning, linkage to community resources, and collaboration with referral sources and allied agencies.
* Support crisis prevention, early intervention, and de-escalation within the DTI milieu, including crisis communication, observation, risk notification to therapist/program manager, and timely documentation in accordance with established crisis protocols.
* Collaborate closely with clinical staff, psychiatry, and other interdisciplinary team members to support continuity of care and reinforce treatment goals across service components.
* Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation for all services provided, meeting DMH, Medi-Cal, and agency billing and productivity standards, including progress notes, group documentation, and collateral contacts.
* Participate in weekly treatment team meetings, supervision, and case consultations to support treatment planning, progress monitoring, and service coordination.
* Demonstrate knowledge of and compliance with applicable federal, state, and county regulations governing mentalhealth services, including confidentiality, mandated reporting requirements, and documentation standards.
* Act in accordance with ethical and professional standards established by relevant professional organizations and Hillsides policies and procedures.
* Attend and actively participate in required program and agency meetings, including staff meetings, clinical conferences, in-service trainings, and quality improvement activities.
* Maintain flexibility in work schedule, including availability for evenings as needed to meet program and client needs.
* Maintain the ability to safely transport clients or travel for service delivery, collateral contacts, or community-based activities as required.
* Collaborate with Program Managers, Therapists, and site-based staff to identify coverage needs, emerging clinical concerns, and documentation gaps requiring immediate support.
* Maintain consistent communication with site leadership to support smooth transitions, continuity of care, and adherence to program expectations across all locations.
* Available after hours for crisis support.
* Provide mentalhealth rehabilitation services to outpatient clients within Family Resource Centers as needed when DTI census is low.
* Perform other related duties as assigned to support the effective operation of the DTI program.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & CERTIFICATES
* Bachelor's degree required
* Minimum of 4 years' experience working with child welfare, residential or day treatment facilities, or with SED children/adolescents/adults and/or other experience working with mentalhealth clients in a related capacity
* Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
* Ability to work flexible hours
* Valid California drivers license, clean driving record and personal vehicle insurance acceptable to Hillsides' insurance carrier

+ Develop Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) to determine site-specific safety requirements, including engineering controls, equipment specifications, machine guarding, PPE, training, and other controls

+ Assist in writing and updating safety programs, standards, and notifications
