The Manager of Behavioral Health - Indiana SMI Case Management is responsible for overseeing a team of clinicians and non-licensed staff supporting the needs of our Indiana members. Primary duties may include but are not limited to: Manages a team of licensed clinicians and non-clinical support staff engaged in telephonic outreach to members. Oversees staff assessing, developing, implementing, coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating care plans designed to optimize member health care across the care continuum and ensuring member access to services appropriate to their health needs. Monitors and evaluates effectiveness of care plans. Manages case consultation and education to customers and internal staff for efficient utilization of BH services. Supports process improvement and quality assurance activities. Ensures adherence to appropriate departmental policies, care management best practices, relevant clinical standards, and member contracts. Facilitate collaboration across departments to ensure cost effective and quality member care. Serves as a resource for medical management programs. Identifies and recommends revisions to policies/procedures. Ensure staff adheres to accreditation guidelines. Supports quality improvement activities. May assist with implementation of cost of care initiatives. May attend meetings to review UM and/or CM process and discuss facility issues. Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports. LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS: Requires current, active, unrestricted license such as RN, LCSW (as applicable by state law and scope of practice), LMHC, LPC, LMSW, LBA (as allowed by applicable state laws), LMFT, or Clinical Psychologist to practice as a health professional within the scope of licensure in applicable states or territory of the United States. For Government business only: LAPC, and LAMFT are also acceptable if allowed by applicable state laws and any other state or federal requirements that may apply; provided that the manager's director has one of the types of licensures specified in the preceding sentence. Licensure is a requirement for this position. However, for states that do not require licensure a Board-Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) is also acceptable if all the following criteria are met; performs UM approvals only, reviews requests for Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) services only, and there is licensed staff supervision. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Prior experience in Managed Care setting required. Qualifications * Salary range: $50,000-$70,000/ year *Based on experience, and education * Schedule: Mon 9a-7:30p; Tues 8a-5p; Wed 8a-4:30p; Thurs 8a-8p * Bachelor's degree. * An active IN behavioral health license or certification including but not limited to: CADAC II - V, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LCAC, LSW, LMHC-A, LMFT-A, LAC, LCAC-A and associate level status with ability and willingness to obtain licensure reciprocity in other states * Minimum two years of experience leading group therapy in a SUD setting. * High comfort level with Technology: EMR, Telehealth software, Google products (Gmail, Google Docs/Sheets/Drive), mobile apps, etc. * Compassion, collaboration, commitment to quality care, and an investment in member success. * Ability to work 2-3 evenings per week up to 9pm as needed. * Other preferred backgrounds, experience, and skills include: mental health, social work, substance use disorder treatment, therapy, human services, social services, medication assisted treatment or MAT.

    The Family Intervention Specialist (FIS) provides intensive in-home services, using the evidence-based program, Family Centered Treatment, to help families prevent out of home placement through medical, legal and social systems. Demonstrates developmentally appropriate competence with the FCT model and service delivery for infants through adult clients and their families. This position serves individuals and families who are involved in the mental health system of care and requires an elevated level of knowledge and proven competencies to provide services to these high acuity cases. Enroll in Wheels of Change © at time of hire completing the first 4 units within 7 business days of hire. The first 4 units must be completed prior to serving clients. Training for each phase of training must be completed prior to providing services required in each phase. Receive additional training and support for continued education regarding high acuity cases. Complete all requirements to be certified in the FCT model within 9 months of the start date. Actively participate in weekly team supervision, according to FCT fidelity, in order to staff cases effectively and create a high level of individual and team accountability. Utilize Grand Rounds and additional levels of case staffing to solution high acuity cases together internally and on a treatment team. Utilize the FCT model to provide Intensive In-Home services, adhering to and ensuring fidelity to the FCT model. Conducts family and individual FCT sessions, as clinically appropriate, in clients' own homes and other settings when convenient for the family, spending a minimum of 4 hours per week and 2-3 weekly contacts with clients in compliance with expected FCT dosage. Increases dosage with individuals and families as needed, based on their need. Focus on consistently enhancing Joining and engagement skills, using data on FCT engagement, successful discharges, and Phase 1 progression as a guide. Provides services unique to each family that promotes the achievement of safety, permanency, and well-being for the children, including evidence-based and trauma-informed in-home services. Conducts initial and on-going assessments that are strengths based and individualized to be incorporated in treatment plans. Guide families through Phase 1 within 5 weeks of services beginning and complete all joining assessments as outlined in the FCT model. Attend additional training, support opportunities and/or coaching sessions when experiencing any challenges with FCT required skills and to prevent or respond to any drift from the model that may occur after FCT certification. Complete all documentation in a timely manner, including strict adherence to the timeline for FCT fidelity documents, family plan and completing progress notes within a 48-hour timeframe (2-days, not business days). Provide youth and families with necessary transportation and help them plan for long term transportation needs. Assist family with access to psychiatric services, therapy and medication management when needed. Process referrals with families to meet any needs identified through treatment. Help families develop a support network in the natural environment. Deliver FCT endorsed interventions designed to develop skills in both parents and children to address their area of family functioning. Promote and advocate for the youth and family in the school setting while empowering parents to advocate for their children's educational needs. Attend child/youth case related meetings and initiate and maintain healthy, positive professional relationships with community partners and treatment team members, always providing high-quality customer service and service delivery. Attend court, prepare youth and families for court, complete any court-related documentation (Family plan updates, court report, any data requested, etc.) and communicate with the case manager and court staff, when necessary, in consultation with the family and DCS. Include the family in individualized treatment plans that are updated monthly at a minimum, to reflect the goals of the family and child and focus on empowerment and increasing parent accountability. Implement Saint Francis Ministries policies and follow directives as required.
