The incumbent functions as a Licensed Professional MentalHealthCounselor (LPMHC) in the MentalHealth Residential Rehabilitation Treatment Program (MH RRTP) located at the Dayton VA Medical Center. The position requires extensive work with MH RRTP Veterans diagnosed with substance use and mentalhealth disorders as well as those who are homeless. The substance use and mentalhealth population of Veterans will receive a variety of therapeutic services such as medication assisted therapy, addiction education, evidenced based psycho-education, psychotherapy, group therapy, case management, discharge planning, and service coordination. NOTE: The incumbent may be required to perform (50%) of their job duties in the community and will be required to utilize a GSA Vehicle while performing such duties. The Social Worker will successfully complete all facility requirements to drive a GSA Vehicle and transport Veterans. This includes all pre-employment physicals. The incumbent is assigned as Licensed Professional MentalHealthCounselor (LPMHC) in Integrated Care (IC) who works at the interface between primary care (PC) and/or specialty medicine (SM) in an integrated care model. We have an office in Dublin and have also partnered with pediatric offices in Worthington. We are hiring Therapists to work in Dublin and/or Worthington.

We also offer a private practice setting while doing the heavy lifting for you. You became a mentalhealth clinician to make a difference in other people's lives, not to manage books, insurance contracts, credentialing, facilities upkeep, and all the other details that come with running a business.
Our private practice offers autonomy and independence while maintaining a sense of community, and our Mindfully Academy provides training opportunities in different modalities and specializations, such as DBT, EMDR, and, SUD, Couples/IFS/Emotion Focused/Gottman and much more.
