A Mental Health and Evaluation Specialist performs professional mental health and evaluation work involving the assessment, counseling, and consultation of justice-involved individuals within Community Corrections, jail release, and transitional settings. Primary duties include providing brief, solutions focused psychotherapy, assessment, skill development and access to resources as needed. This position acts as a consultant to the primary care provider, providing diagnosis and care plan input and management.
