About the role
We are looking for a sharp, forward thinking Lead Counsel, Payments and Regulatory to expand our portfolio of financial products. What you will do

What you will need

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor s degree in mentalhealth for children, special education OR related field.

PHYSICAL WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work is typically performed in an office setting. Inventory management requires some lifting and moving of objects up to 30lbs. Excellent communication skills are essential. COMPENSATION:

WORK SCHEDULE:
This is a 6-month non-permanent position. 15 hours per week. Hours would typically be between 9-4 M-Th and Fri 1-4pm. Some evenings may be required.

Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
The Behavioral Health Specialist (BHS) manages and maintains the safety of the individuals and staff. Takes vitals and assists individuals in meeting their needs while on the unit by providing exceptional customer service. Documents services provided and significant interactions in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
* Conducts security screening and inventories property of individuals upon admission to the facility. Provides orientation to the Observation Unit and Short-term Inpatient Unit. Educates patients on their rights under ADHS regulations, grievance process, provides expectations, and explains rules and regulations.
* Intervenes with escalated individuals using therapeutic techniques for de-escalation and performs restraints/seclusions when needed to ensure the individual's safety and the safety of others. Completes 1-to-1 on a patient in seclusion or mechanical restraints Q15.
* Lifts, moves, and transports individuals using proper body mechanics or lifting devices for accident prevention.
* Assists individuals with activities of daily living to include eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, and transferring.
* Conducts and documents individual's vitals and reports all questionable results to the RN/Physician attending the individual. Conducts and documents all BAL, urine drug screens, and urine pregnancy tests.
* Attends court ordered hearings when subpoenaed. Must be willing to be a witness on a petition and available to provide testimony at court ordered hearings.
* Documents all services and significant individual interactions in the Electronic Health Record. Monitors and documents patients Q15.
* Responsible for maintaining and ensuring the cleanliness of the facility and designated assigned unit. Performs light cleaning of interior center, collects soiled linen, and launders individuals clothing when needed.
* Performs all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

* Registered Agency Affiliated Counselor (AAC) certification, or ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hire

This posting is for MentalHealth Specialist at Orin C. Smith Elementary for the 2025-26 school year. It is a Classified, Non-Represented, hourly position. The position is 6.5 hours per day, 185 days per year, with an anticipated schedule of 8:30 am - 3:30 pm. The 185 days includes the 180 day school year, 4 days before the school year starts, and 1 day after the school year ends.

Responsibilities:
* Support student success through school wide tiered support for Social Emotional education and support.
* Support students and families with mentalhealth needs that impact school success.
* Team with administration and teachers to provide a healthy environment for all students.
* Maintain and complete documentation as required by law, district policy, and administrative regulations.
* Coordinate with outside agencies to seek services and provide referrals for at-risk families.
* Serve as a contact person for your site to coordinate community service projects that support students' basic needs and family support.
* Participate in school meetings that support MTSS, IEP and 504 teams, and other such teams that strive to meet the needs of individual students.
* Provide staff with support, education and training in mentalhealth and social emotional learning.
* Teach social skill groups and conflict resolution.
* Support family engagement and parent education activities.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree in counseling, psychology and/or related field
* Successful experience working with children and young adults in an elementary school setting.
* Experience representing the school and working with Child Protective Services
* Minimum of 4 years of experience
* CPR and First Aid certificates.

JOB SUMMARY:
Provide intensive and strength based therapeutic mentalhealth services and supports to children, youth and families in the community including: assessing for immediate safety and stabilization needs, treatment plan development, safety and crisis planning, child and family team meeting facilitation, on-going assessment and evaluation of current treatment planning strategies, goals, and outcomes.

Provide and/or facilitate the provision of a range of therapeutic responses that support the overall plan (including individual and family therapies).
Utilize parent/family expertise in problem solving around specific needs.
Modify and adjust individual intervention techniques for each situation without changing the direction of the plan.
Facilitate placement into foster care, as needed, while ensuring necessary paperwork is completed and notifications made.
Facilitate others, including a team, to implement the plan from beginning.
Reevaluate, modify, and redesign plan based on new information.
Inspire confidence in the child, family and other team members about their strengths and ability to transition successfully.
Arrange and negotiate a process for ongoing formal and informal services and supports.
Create and practice a plan for aftercare supports and response post CCS involvement.
This position will participate in an on-call rotation with other Clinicians and Clinical Care Coordinators.
This position will be based out of FBH Bremerton site. This position requires scheduling flexibility to meet the needs of youth and families served. The services we offer will be provided in community-based settings and in family homes.

Qualifications
WHAT WE ARE SEEKING IN A CANDIDATE:
Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, behavioral sciences or equivalent.

The Edward Thomas House Medical Respite is a unique medical respite harm reduction program that provides shelter care with embedded nursing, mentalhealth, and case management services to an at-risk homeless population. Medical Respite is a part of the Healthcare for the Homeless Network and is supported by funds from multiple sources including King County Public Health, MIDD, and local hospitals. The Edward Thomas House admits patients referred from all King County area hospitals 7 days a week and operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The program is operated by Harborview Medical Center (HMC) at an off-site location next to the Harborview emergency department.
**PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Contribute to and document initial and ongoing bio-psychosocial patient evaluations and assessments
+ Develop patient care plan with interdisciplinary team
+ Facilitate therapeutic sessions and patient/family conferences
+ Deescalate potentially dangerous situations and promote stability on unit

You will meet with the client and support systems to create a Safety and Crisis Plan and Individual Behavior Support Plan, and meet with the client weekly to focus and work toward their reported goals. You will engage family members and the residential staff, collaborating and educating them on ways to more successfully work with the clients. You will maintain ongoing evaluations, progress notes, plans, and meeting documentation to show client progress or behaviors to address. This position works an after-hour phone crisis response approximately 1 week every 3 months. Perks of this role:

Our Camp Counselor positions have the potential to serve as competitively paid internships that meet your course credit needs.
First and foremost, your primary responsibilities will be as a Camp Counselor. As an Intern, you will be expected to fulfill your regular daily job responsibilities and it will be up to you to complete your internship responsibilities and to ensure that they do not interfere with your work obligations. Contact your college advisor in advance and ask them if you can use your summer camp job as a practicum, internship or for other course credits. If KE Camps can meet your internship requirements, your on-site Camp Director will be your field supervisor and oversee your course work. You will also be connected to a KE Camps contact at our HQ in Skillman, NJ. To receive credit, you must complete the course, practicum or internship per your college's parameters and complete your summer employment.
As a Camp Counselor, you will be an active participant in all camp activities and will assist your Camp Director with a variety of daily tasks, all with the goal of creating a memorable and meaningful camp experience for your campers. Our Counselors interact with our campers throughout the entire day, helping them make friends, try new things, and generally caring for their well-being. The role of a Counselor is to participate, build relationships and have fun while ensuring the physical and emotional safety of every child.
