Seeking a licensed therapist to join our recently implemented behavioral health team, in one of the following licensures:

This person will join our recently implemented behavioral health team at the Cibola Family Health Center and provide therapy services for patients, their families and support systems as these relate to their mentalhealth care needs.
Provide individuals, families, and groups with the psychosocial support needed to cope with chronic, acute, or terminal illnesses. Services include advising family care givers, providing patient education and counseling, and making referrals for other services. May also provide care and case management or interventions designed to promote health, prevent disease, and address barriers to access to healthcare.
Primary Responsibilities:
Performs biopsychosocial assessments and provides counseling services.
Collaborate with other professionals to assess client needs or treatment plans.
Advocate for clients or patients to resolve crisis.
Intervene in crisis situations to assist clients.
Refer patient, client, or family to community resources to assist in recovery from mental or physical illness and to provide access to services such as financial assistance, legal aid, housing, job placement or education.
Refer clients to community or social service programs.
Education/Licensure Requirements:
Licensure in state of New Mexico is required, including a Master s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or MentalHealth Counseling
State registration is required
Minimum 1-3 years experience in Social Work/Case Management/Counseling

This position is an entry level Behavioral Health Position and will provide education for individuals and groups in a correctional setting. The position will provide a wide range of education including but not limited to substance abuse, relationship difficulties, trauma, mental illness and crisis intervention. The incumbent will provide direct psychotherapy education to individuals, and groups suffering from substance abuse and other mental issues. Employees will conduct case management including counseling, behavior management, coordinate programs, prepare administrative reports, provide consultation to staff, conduct interviews with new inmates for assessment and recommend treatment plans.

-Develop treatment, safety, and relapse prevention plans;
-Provides individual sessions and group psychotherapy (night groups);
-Completion of all clinical documentation and therapeutic contacts;
-An active treatment team member and participates fully in the treatment planning process.
Qualifications
Therapists providing individual, family, and/or group therapy must meet the necessary licensing qualifications as follows:
-NM Licensed LSAA, LADAC, LMSW, or LMHC
-Experience with electronic health records
-Completion of all SUD clinical documentation including Safety and Relapse Prevention Plans
-Facilitation of SUD Groups following the Adult Matrix Model
Candidate requirements: minimum of two years experience in substance use disorders and co-occurring disorders treatment.
