The Substance Abuse Counselor will provide counsel and support to patients suffering from drug or alcohol dependency, educate families in the best ways to help in the recovery process, and work with both inpatient clients and those participating in outpatient programs. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Meets with clients to obtain personal information and medical histories and consults with other professionals to get a clear picture of the patient's status and extent of problems. Job Description New Mexico Boys and Girls Ranches is a non-denominational Christian organization providing residential care, foster placement, and OP counseling to families of children placed at The Ranches as well as to families working to avoid out-of-home placement for their teens.
