Actively participates in treatment team meetings, presenting family case assessment. Document the assessment, progress and/or regression of the patient in an accurate and timely manner. Shows respect for the patient/family frame of reference, and for individual differences within the mental health population. Demonstrates a thorough understanding of Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Family Systems. Demonstrates ability to respond to feedback and supervision from supervisor and peers. Demonstrates knowledge of basic diagnostic criteria for mental health, substance use, suicide risk/self-harm and major psychiatric disorders. Demonstrates knowledge of mental illness as it affects persons from diverse backgrounds; is sensitive to different cultural, ethnic, racial, socio-economic, and religious and gender values as they may affect recovery. Demonstrate sensitivity in working with physically and mentally disabled within the larger treatment population. Capability to fulfill "on-call" assignment as identified by needs of the business.
