Murphy in Berkeley, North Central Community Health Center In Pine Lawn and the South County Health Center in Sunset Hills. The annual starting salary will be $64,480. Licensure by the State of Missourias a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)or Professional Counselor (LPC) must be obtained prior to completion of a six month probationary period. Additional Information SELECTION AND APPOINTMENT: A selection committee will evaluate the qualifications of each applicant which will include recentness and appropriateness of the applicant's education and experience, answers to the supplemental questions, results of employment references investigated and any other appropriate information available. The selection committee will admit to the interview only those persons who possess the most job-related qualifications and may establish admittance criteria beyond the minimum qualifications stated above. The interview will comprise 100% of the applicant's earned grade. A candidate must earn a qualifying grade of 70 or more on the interview to be eligible for appointment. After initial interviews with the selected candidates are conducted, an email will be sent to the address on file with instructions on how to complete and submit a Conviction Questionnaire. Candidates have 3 days to complete the required questionnaire. The five top ranking candidates, based on the final grade, will be certified to the Department Director/Appointing Authority who will make the final decision. All applicants conditionally offered a merit position will be required to submit to urinalysis to screen for illegal drug use prior to appointment. Supervisors provide weekly coaching and clinical supervision to new and existing staff members, mentoring them and helping them develop their clinical skills. IPS supervisors will improve their management of new and existing staff via internal and external training. While further developing their clinical skills by staying up to date on programming, Illinois state guidelines and examining clinical best practices. General Duties and Responsibilities Reports to the Child Abuse Hotline as directed by the Mandated Reporter Act. Will provide exceptional customer service to parents, foster caregivers, referring case agencies, and other team members. Will Maintain discretion, as they are entrusted with a client's personal information and knowledge of their unique situation. This confidentiality extends to ensuring client data is secure. Reports any exposure to communicable diseases. Submits expense vouchers, renewed driver's licenses, and automobile insurance coverage on the due date. Facilitates the admission process. Maintains communication with referral sources, on-call psychiatrist, on-call therapist, Ed physician, families, patients and unit staff. Helps to coordinate and process each admission / disposition to the hospital. Attend and participate in all in-service training as necessary.
