Primary Job Function: The licensed counselor will be responsible for offering support and assistance to patients enrolled in Medication Assisted Treatment for opioid use disorder. Utilizing evidence-based practices and a trauma-informed approach, the counselor will help patients develop individualized coping techniques and symptom management skills that enable them to experience improved quality of life. Through collaboration with doctors, nurses and a multidisciplinary team, the counselor will play a vital role in evaluating patient progress and developing an individualized plan of care. Essential Job Function: * Provide individual and group counseling services; direct service at regularly scheduled intervals based on patient need, best practices and state regulations; coordinate all services throughout treatment. * Conducts initial assessment and evaluation to determine eligibility for services. * Complete Bio-psychosocial assessment. * Establish individualized treatment plan with each patient and review as clinically indicated. * Respond, as needed, to patient grievances and complaints. * Develop aftercare and discharge plans. * Other related duties as determined by supervisor. The Community Branch Internship Program is a 10-week summer internship centered around customer service, professional development, career growth and building the necessary interpersonal skills to succeed within Retail Banking.
