This is a pivotal role in driving people practices outcomes by designing and driving our national strategy for psychological safety, workforce resilience, and healthy work environments. Maintains an established method of providing information in a consistent manner to staff on bereavement activities. Works with qualified staff social workers in the development and implementation of caregiver support groups. Develops and implements support groups open to the public. Provides individual bereavement counseling to local residents not affiliated with Hospice. QUALIFICATIONS Master's degree from a school of social work accredited by the Council on Social Work Education or a master's degree in a related field required. Minimum one year of experience in social work, or a related field, preferably in a homecare agency, hospital, outpatient clinic, or mental health program in which bereavement counseling and support group facilitation was primary function. Must possess a Florida Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential in good standing or similar credential (LMHC, LMFT) required. Knowledge and Abilities: Demonstrated knowledge skills and commitment to the Hospice philosophy of care and the Hospice team concept. Able to assess data reflecting the patients' status and interpret the appropriate information needed identify each patient's requirements relative to their needs. SUMMARY: Responsible for training in the delivery supportive counseling services on an individual, group, sibling or family basis. Involves a broad range of training and development activities, assessment services, caseload consultation and requires quality documentation of activities completed under the supervision of a licensed professional in order to meet field training requirements set by their academic program. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Complete practical application of field training that includes accurate, timely documentation of the highest quality and consistent with agency standards, rules and regulation. 2. Complete field practice of required assessments, treatment plans and progress notes. 3. Formulate, coordinate and implement programming associated with the care plan through full knowledge of the client/family. 4. Complete field training and practice to facilitate the implementation of the care plan with the client/family. 5. Learn to monitor the overall course of treatment services for the client and family. 6. Practice within the philosophy, function and Personnel Practices of The Children's Home Inc. 7. Attend agency and required training. 8. Participate in all Continuous Quality Improvement activities as required. 9. Perform other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience: A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college and actively enrolled in a Master level program in the field of social work, counseling, or psychology or in a related human service field.
