Attend CCS meetings at Milwaukee County Behavioral Health Services and other required provider events. • Serve as a leader in promoting evidence-based practices and trauma-informed care across the program. A day hospital is a psychiatric program you attend during weekdays, returning to the comfort of home in the evenings and on weekends. It is a less intensive level of care than inpatient but provides more support than an outpatient setting. The National Women's Law Center (NWLC) seeks a LAW STUDENT intern for summer 2026 to to support the work of the Reproductive Rights and Health team, focusing on promoting reproductive rights and access to comprehensive, affordable health care, including abortion and birth control, via litigation and policy advocacy. This is a full-time, non-exempt paid position of 37.5 hours per week to start June 1, 2026, and end August 7, 2026. This work may be done remotely, hybrid, or in-person. POSITION SUMMARY The Mental Health Coordinator is responsible for the development, implementation, clinical and/or administrative supervision, and monitoring of a Behavioral Health services delivery system in MA DOC Secure Treatment Units meeting NCCHC/ACA standards. The Mental Health Coordinator works with the Regional Manager, Site Administrator, Medical Director, and Psychiatrist to coordinate total contract services in MA DOC Secure Treatment Units SCHEDULE Full Time MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Must be fluent in English language, including reading, writing, and must be able to communicate and exchange accurate information. Provides direct clinical services including individual and group treatment, crisis intervention, as well as providing shadowing and mentor opportunities to front-line clinical staff. Ensures treatment programs contracted are integrated and appropriately staffed. Provides administrative support to behavioral health staff. Coordinates with the facility's Behavioral Health Quality Improvement Program. Attends training and meetings as required. A day hospital is a psychiatric program you attend during weekdays, returning to the comfort of home in the evenings and on weekends. It is a less intensive level of care than inpatient but provides more support than an outpatient setting. Many people we serve find that day hospital treatment is a helpful step down from inpatient care before returning to daily life or that it is an effective intensity of treatment to help avoid an inpatient stay. At a Sheppard Pratt day hospital, care consists of both individual and group treatment. The Day Hospitals are group-based programs. Patients attend multiple group therapeutic sessions throughout the day. Day Hospitals are located on the Towson and Baltimore Washington Campus for Sheppard Pratt.
