Responsibilities Include::
Manage a caseload of patients in both the partial hospital and intensive outpatient programs utilizing Family Based Treatment (FBT) methods.
Provide clinical care and case management in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Walden Behavioral Care and other regulatory agencies.
Conduct psychosocial assessments, participate in treatment planning, utilization review, and discharge planning.
Conduct individual, group and family therapy.
Conduct risk assessments and crisis management.
Manage cases for primarily the adolescent population with an expectation of some coverage in the adult programs.
Collaborate with referral sources and outpatient providers.
Work to ensure that all required documentation is completed in a timely and professional manner, while complying with all regulatory standards.
Work collaboratively with the treatment team throughout the Walden continuum of care.
Qualifications::
Education:
Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling or related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years experience providing direct clinical care in a mentalhealth setting, preferably in an eating disorders program
Minimum of 1 year's experience working with families in a mentalhealth setting
Licensure/Certification:
Independent or provisional license; preferred
Current CPR certification
Knowledge:
Must have strong clinical, organizational and communication skills
Must possess knowledge of psychiatric group process, therapeutic relationships processes, age specific growth and development, limit setting and behavior/crisis management.

Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY

Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field from an accredited college or university.
Licensed to practice behavioral health services in the state where services are being delivered (LICSW or LMHC required).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTION
Acts as point of contact for administrative staff for discussion of treatment unit programs and problem resolution as needed.
Coordinates development and revision of policies and procedures for the identification, assessment, and provision of required clinical services for inmates housed in Secure Treatment Units.
Supervises the planning, development and implementation of treatment programs contracted to VitalCore.
Provides clinical and/or administrative supervision to staff of Behavioral Health Services within Secure Treatment Units.
Monitors efforts of Behavioral Health Services in Secure Treatment Units to ensure clinical services are being provided in a timely, professional manner.
Provides and assigns clinical on-call duties.
Provides direct clinical services including individual and group treatment, crisis intervention, as well as providing shadowing and mentor opportunities to front-line clinical staff.
Ensures treatment programs contracted are integrated and appropriately staffed.
Provides administrative support to behavioral health staff.
Coordinates with the facility's Behavioral Health Quality Improvement Program.
Attends training and meetings as required.
Maintain proficiency with all software required for the position, and more specifically, clinical documentation in the designated electronic health record system.
Other duties as assigned.

Reporting to the Director of MentalHealth, the mentalhealth clinician will contribute the mentalhealth team and is dedicated to supporting the mental and emotional well-being of female athletes across the lifespan - from adolescents to adults - through integrated, outpatient care.
The MentalHealth Clinician provides individual outpatient psychotherapy and mental performance consultation to athletes navigating a wide variety of challenges including but not limited to identity development, REDS and/or eating disorders, life transitions, depression, anxiety and performance anxiety. The clinician supports athletes seeking to elevate their overall performance and wellness in and out of sport. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the athlete experience, trauma-informed care, evidence-based therapeutic interventions and a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individual outpatient psychotherapy to female athletes of all ages, with a focus on injury recovery, identity transitions, anxiety, depression, and performance-related stressors.
Deliver therapeutic support for athletes experiencing Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport (REDS), eating disorders, or disordered eating in close collaboration with dietitians and medical providers.
Participate in regular multidisciplinary case rounds and consultations with team members to ensure comprehensive treatment planning and coordinated care.
Utilize an evidence-based, trauma-informed, culturally responsive approach to care.
Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals and regularly assess progress.
Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with agency and licensing standards.
Provide psychoeducation to athletes and their families on mentalhealth topics related to sports, recovery, and resilience.
Engage in ongoing professional development related to sport psychology, eating disorders, and best practices in athlete mentalhealth care.
Required Qualifications:
Hold a completed master's degree in social work, mentalhealth counseling, or related field from an accredited program or doctoral level degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA-accredited program.
Currently licensed or ability to obtain licensure (e.g., LICSW, LMHC, PsyD, Ph.D.) in the state of Massachusetts no later than 6 months after hire date.
At least 1-3 years post-graduate clinical experience in providing mentalhealth services to athletes throughout the lifespan.
Experience working with athletes, preferably in a sports medicine setting.
Clinical experience with anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, injury recovery, and/or eating disorders.
Demonstrated ability to work and communicate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Qualifications:

Oak Street Health's graduate Behavioral Health Specialist Fellowship is a 12-month paid training program in the revolutionary collaborative care model in a value-based setting, which rewards healthcare companies for the quality of their care not the quantity.
This program will include time spent building your knowledge of evidence-based interventions and psychotropic medications, earning clinical supervision hours from a licensed clinical social worker, and engaging in didactic content that aims to build on, not repeat, graduate training. The Committee for Public Counsel Services (CPCS) is the state agency in Massachusetts responsible for providing an attorney when the state or federal constitution or a state statute requires the appointment of an attorney for a person who cannot afford to retain one. The agency provides representation in criminal, delinquency, youthful offender, child welfare, guardianship, mentalhealth, sexually dangerous person, and sex offender registry cases, as well as in appeals and post-conviction and post-judgment proceedings related to those matters.

Responsibilities
MENTALHEALTH LITIGATION DIVISION OVERVIEW
The MentalHealth Litigation Division provides individuals with attorneys for Civil Commitment proceedings in the District and Superior Courts and provides attorneys for appointment by the Probate and Family Courts to represent persons in Guardianships and Substituted Judgment proceedings, including cases involving Conservatorship, Elder Abuse, the Validation of Health Care Proxies, Nursing Home Admission and Do Not Resuscitate orders. Civil Commitments are handled by both staff and private attorneys, while most cases in the Probate Court are handled by private panel attorneys.
In addition to our staff offices in Brockton, Roxbury, Northampton, and Worcester, the MHLD has attorneys in our trial support and oversight office and our training department. All our attorneys receive training in issues relating to mentalhealth and the statutory and constitutional rights of our clients. The MentalHealth Litigation Division offers interns a variety of experiences and assignments under the supervision of highly experienced attorneys.
MentalHealth Commitment Defense Units
The MHLD offices located in Brockton, Northampton, Roxbury, and Worcester seeks interns and law coop students who have completed their 2L year and are or can be 3:03 certified to assist attorneys with representation of citizens facing involuntary civil commitment to mentalhealth facilities, and involuntary medical treatment for mental illness, including the administration of anti-psychotic medications. 1Ls are welcome to intern with the commitment defense offices to assist with client calls, reviewing medical records and legal research.
