Internship Description About Louisiana Key Academy: Louisiana Key Academy (LKA) is a growing network of public charter schools, founded in Baton Rouge, that utilizes an innovative, evidence-based model to serve students with dyslexia. Founded by two parents of dyslexic students, we are passionate about our vision of all children having the tools they need to thrive. We believe that dyslexics should be identified early and given the education necessary to reach their full potential. LKA is a champion for dyslexics as they engage in an excellent and accessible education. The Internship Opportunity: We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized School Community Engagement Intern to act as a liaison between our school and key stakeholders, including students, parents, and the local community. This intern will help amplify our school's values and accomplishments while promoting strong community connections. This is a paid, part-time internship with flexible hours and remote participation available. The position will require approximately 10 hours per week, with a schedule that can be adjusted to accommodate academic commitments.
