We're looking for a passionate Full-Time Financial Case Manager to join our team! ) Advanced Recovery Systems is an integrated behavioral healthcare management company dedicated to the treatment of addiction, substance abuse, and mentalhealth issues. The Financial Case Manager's primary responsibility is to provide financial counseling to patients and families, including insurance benefit education, responding to financial inquiries, and collecting and processing co-pays and deductibles in accordance with ARS policies and procedures. In addition, the role supports Case Management functions by ensuring compliance with State and Federal guidelines, participating in discharge planning, completing discharge needs assessments, coordinating aftercare services and appointments, and collaborating with the treatment team, payors, and facility leadership to support continuity of care.
Works effectively with the facility leadership team to ensure success of the facility by completing the following:
Core Job Duties:
Serve as the primary financial counselor for patients, providing education on insurance benefits, financial responsibility, billing policies, and payment options.
Verify and validate patient insurance benefits and financial responsibility by first reviewing the UR Daily Census column to assess the daily status of insurance coverage, followed by checks in approved payer portals (e.g., InstaMed, NaviNet, Availity, or other designated systems), and conducting live payor calls as needed for inactive, unclear, or unresolved coverage.
Collect private pay fees, co-pays, and insurance deductibles within 72 hours of admission for inpatient and outpatient clients, in accordance with the "Collection of Patient Responsibility" policy.
Ensure completion and signature of all required financial and admission-related documentation within 72 hours of admission, including but not limited to billing acknowledgments, payment plans, advance repayment agreements, coordination of benefits, authorized claims representative forms, and the initial Case Management Discharge Plan (CMDP).
Facilitate payment arrangements and advance repayment agreements when co-pays or deductibles are not immediately collectible and notify leadership as needed.
Collaborate with the Admissions/RCM team to resolve collection barriers and secure (at minimum) agreed-upon payments at the time of admission.
Maintain accurate, timely documentation of all financial transactions, co-pay and deductible activity, and payment arrangements within the electronic medical record.
Work closely with Facility Leadership (Site CEO) and Aftercare Manager to ensure consistent financial processes and patient support.
Maintain open communication with the multidisciplinary treatment team regarding financial considerations that may impact treatment engagement or discharge planning.
Requirements
Bachelors' Degree in health-related field, Finance/Accounting or Medical Management office experience preferred. Minimum high school diploma.
Minimum one- or two-years' experience, preferred experience in the medical, behavioral healthcare or financial field.
Familiar with community resources and proficient in providing, discussing, and resolving financial issues and policies.

Duties: In this role, you will be provide crisis intervention services to individuals in community settings in Licking County. Services being a Public Health Officer, with the ability to write involuntary admissions, and completing Hospital Pre-Screens for Psychiatric admissions or community safety plans, as well as mobile crisis services for children and adults. POSITION SUMMARY
The Primary Therapist assesses, diagnoses, and treats individuals experiencing mentalhealth disorders by providing counseling, support, and therapeutic interventions to improve their emotional well-being, manage symptoms, and develop coping mechanisms, through individual or group therapy sessions. Works with different client populations following the general directions of the clinical supervisor to deliver psychotherapy to assigned clients. Screens and completes diagnostic assessments independently or under supervision in accordance with licensure requirements. Make recommendations about patient's treatment needs based on screening and diagnostic assessment.
Employs a variety of treatment modalities including individual, group, and family therapy for adult, children, and adolescent populations. Ensures psychotherapeutic techniques and modalities are appropriately matched for clinical needs.
Develops the treatment plan with clients by assessing their strengths and weaknesses, defining their mentalhealth and substance abuse problems, and setting specific goals and objectives to be accomplished in the course of treatment.
Meets with their supervisor and with the treatment team to discuss a client's treatment process.
May provide crisis work with individuals, groups and families under supervision. Continuously and accurately assesses each client's potential for harming self or another to take appropriate action to prevent serious incidents from occurring.
Works with client families and social networks to accomplish the goals of treatment.
Consults with other community caregivers to strengthen and coordinate social intervention programming.
Charts the client's progress in the clinical record and completes all paperwork necessary by MHS policy for professional, administrative, financial, and evaluative purposes of monitoring clinical care and of assuring efficient and effective agency operations
Participates in quality improvement activities by reviewing the clinical charts, reviewing the criteria for admission/continued stay/discharge, performing patient care audits, and investigating adverse occurrences in treatment.
Screens for pain and encourage clients to follow up with a health care provider.
Reads relevant professional literature, attends conferences, seminars, workshops, and in-service training as required to remain current on best treatment protocols and techniques.
Is responsible for delivery of number of units of service budgeted in order to assure the fiscal viability of MHS.
Follows all universal precautions for safety, infection control and follows all state, federal and joint commission health and safety standards.
Treats clients and family with dignity and respect at all times and holds all patient information in the strictest confidence.

LICENSED SOCIAL WORKER/COUNSELOR: Treatment Foster Care - Community Based
$3000.00 Sign-on Bonus
UMCH Family Services is seeking a full-time licensed social worker, counselor, or marriage and family therapist specializing in mentalhealth to join our Treatment Foster Care team. They will provide trauma-informed, evidenced-based mentalhealth counseling to children, adolescents, adults, and families who are have been or are currently involved with the child welfare system in a variety of settings such as community, school, & office-based as well as through telehealth. Position Summary
The therapist will provide trauma-informed mentalhealth to individuals, family, and group counseling and therapeutic behavioral services to children currently in foster care, plus foster, adoptive, post- adopt, birth families, and emancipated young adults focusing on client and family strengths. In collaboration with the rest of the service team, they will be responsible for providing and/or linking with specialized services for children and their families. The therapist will administer mentalhealth assessments, develop treatment plans, implement interventions, and document services delivered.
Continuing Education
Paid training in Evidence-Based and Trauma-Informed Practices is provided
Individual and group supervision hours towards independent licensure designation is provided
Minimum Qualifications
Master's Degree in Social Work/Counseling or related field
Child mentalhealth experience preferred
Must have strong documentation skills
Ability to work effectively with families and treatment partners
Licensure as an LSW/LPC/MFT
Independent Licensure preferred (LISW/LPCC/LMFT)
Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable

Location: This role enables associates to work virtually full-time, with the exception of required in-person training sessions, providing maximum flexibility and autonomy. The Medical Management Clinician responsible for ensuring appropriate, consistent administration of plan benefits by reviewing clinical information and assessing medical necessity under relevant guidelines and/or medical policies. May collaborate with healthcare providers. Focuses on moderately complex case types that do not require the training or skill of a registered nurse.
How you will make an impact.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
* Responsible for moderately complex cases that may require evaluation of multiple variables against guidelines when procedures are not clear.
* Work may be facilitated, in part, by algorithmic or automated processes.
* Handles moderately complex benefit plans and/or contracts.
* Works on reviews that may require guidance by more senior colleagues and/or management.
* May serve as a resource to less experienced staff.
* Conducts and may approve precertification, concurrent, retrospective, out-of-network, and/or appropriateness of treatment setting reviews by assessing clinical information against appropriate medical policies, clinical guidelines, and the relevant benefit plan/contract.
* May process a medical necessity denial determination made by a Medical Director.
* May work directly with healthcare providers to obtain and understand clinical information.
* Refers complex or unclear reviews to higher level nurses and/or Medical Directors.
* May educate members about plan benefits and physicians. Does not issue medical necessity non-certifications.
Minimum Requirements:
* Requires H.S. diploma or equivalent. Requires a minimum of 4 years of clinical experience and/or utilization review experience.
* Current active, valid and unrestricted LPN/LVN license or RN license and/or certification to practice as a health professional within the scope of licensure in applicable state(s) or territory of the United States required.
* Multi-state licensure is required if this individual is providing services in multiple states.

Crisis Intervention Specialist
Duties: In this role, you will be provide crisis intervention services to individuals in community settings in Licking County. Services being a Public Health Officer, with the ability to write involuntary admissions, and completing Hospital Pre-Screens for Psychiatric admissions or community safety plans, as well as mobile crisis services for children and adults. Each staff is designated a specific shift and location, for a 40 hour work week, with the addition of a one (1), twelve (12) hour On Call shift a month, and on a rotation basis to provide a required holiday coverage, once or twice a year. Staff are compensated for On Call hours and overtime for any worked hours during that On Call shift. Each staff has access to the Crisis Supervisor 365 days of the year, 24/7, for consultation purposes, as well as to team members working the same shift. There are no productivity requirements or on going caseloads, and each day is varied, can be fast paced and often very interesting. Opportunities for additional training and advancement in professional growth are available, and encouraged.
