What You'll Do
Clinical Supervision & Leadership
- Provide high-quality clinical supervision to school-based mentalhealth counselors (individuals pursuing or maintaining licensure)- Ensure ethical, evidence-based clinical practice aligned with Tennessee licensure standards and best practices- Support clinicians with case consultation, risk assessment, crisis response guidance, and treatment planning- Model strong clinical judgment and professional boundaries in school settings
Medicaid Billing Oversight & Compliance- Oversee Medicaid-aligned service delivery and documentation for school-based mentalhealth services- Ensure clinicians understand and adhere to: - Insurance-eligible services (including Medicaid) and medical necessity standards - Proper session structure, progress notes, and treatment plans - Timely and accurate documentation requirements- Sign off on all Insurance claims for individuals under your purview who are not yet fully licensed.- Review clinical documentation to support clean claims, audit readiness, and compliance- Partner with Thrive's billing and administrative teams to: - Address denials, corrections, and documentation gaps - Support continuous improvement in reimbursement processes - Align clinical practice with payer requirements without compromising care quality- Provide training and ongoing guidance to clinicians on Medicaid/Private Insurance billing expectations in school-based settings

What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Tennessee licensure (LPC-MHSP, LCSW, LMFT, or Psychologist)- Meets Tennessee requirements to provide clinical supervision- Minimum 5+ years of clinical experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role- Experience working with children and adolescents- Familiarity with Medicaid/Private Insurance billing and documentation requirements

Position Summary: To perform a combination of behavioral health clinical responsibilities, including enrollment assessments to MHC services, and therapy with Consumers. This role will serve enrollment, and therapy needs remotely via telephone and telehealth, and report to MHC locations to conduct in person therapy when needs arise for continuity of care.
Position Responsibilities:
Perform enrollment process for individuals who have been referred to MHC, evaluating needs for all service lines (Care Management, Medication Management, Therapy).
Complete all enrollment assessment documentation to organizational standards.
Disposition Consumer to appropriate external resources for other mentalhealth services when ineligible for MHC services.
Identify individuals that are in need of crisis services rather than a routine intake. If appropriate, facilitate crisis intervention.
Assist in resolving any grievance received from a consumer regarding referral.
Provide quick access to care via high responsiveness and proactive engagement to eligible individuals and referral partners.
Utilize Intake Committee for all Consumers who meet criteria who have a history of violence, sexual crimes or serious criminal activity. Contact Consumer with decision.
Engage in therapy with Consumers experiencing serious and persistent mental illness, serious emotional disturbances, substance abuse, suicidality, relationship issues, and other stressors.
Utilize evidence based therapeutic modalities to counsel Consumers and their supports, via individual, parent/caregiver, and group sessions, to assist in overcoming challenges, utilizing coping skills, and improving outcomes.
Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with Consumers based on clinical experience and knowledge.
Learn about new developments in their field by reading professional literature, attending courses and seminars, establishing and maintaining contact with other community partners.
Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and Consumers' progress in resolving identified problems and moving towards defined objectives.
Refer Consumers or family members to community resources or to specialists as necessary.
Meet with families, clinic providers, care managers and other team members to collaborate on Consumer goals and improve their outcomes.
Collaborate with other staff members, primary care practice partners including pediatricians, doctors, nurse practitioners, office staff, and referral sources as assigned to perform clinical assessments and develop treatment plans.

The purpose of the Therapist is to provide high-quality, therapeutic services to clients, ensuring their mentalhealth and well-being. The Therapist is responsible for conducting assessments, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, maintaining accurate documentation, and collaborating with other internal and external professionals. This role also involves participating in outreach and marketing efforts to promote services and attract new referrals, contributing to the overall mission of delivering comprehensive mentalhealth care.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments to determine individuals' needs and appropriate interventions.
Utilize standardized assessment tools and techniques to gather relevant information.
Create individualized treatment plans in collaboration with individuals, families, and the treatment team.
Set measurable goals and objectives tailored to individuals' needs.
Deliver therapeutic interventions in individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
Implement therapeutic techniques to address various mentalhealth issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral disorders.
Provide consistent and comprehensive services to all assigned individuals on your caseload.
Ensure regular contact and follow-up with individuals to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Accurately document all client interactions, treatment plans, progress notes, and other required documentation within established timeframes per company policy.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and organizational standards.
Work closely with other professionals as a multidisciplinary treatment team, to provide holistic care.
Participate in regular treatment team meetings to discuss progress and treatment strategies of individuals served.
Provide immediate support and intervention during crisis situations.
Develop safety plans and coordinate with emergency services when necessary.
Engage in community outreach to promote mentalhealth services and attract new clients.
Connect individuals and families with additional resources and support services as needed.
Stay current with best practices, new treatment modalities, and emerging trends in mentalhealth therapy.
Participate in ongoing training, workshops, and professional development opportunities.
Effectively communicate with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders to address inquiries, disseminate information, and resolve complaints or concerns.
If providing services in NC, additional responsibilities include:
Actively engage with individuals through assessment, coordination, health promotion, and transitional care, documenting assessments and coordinating with the care team and treatment teams.
Provide comprehensive care management, coordination, health promotion, individual and family supports, and referrals to community services.

The Family Centered Treatment Therapist provides quality psychotherapeutic services to children, adolescents, and families utilizing the Family Centered Treatment model.
Provide Family Centered Treatment (FCT) Clinical Services as per the service definition and model fidelity requirements.
FCT Certification is required and must be completed within one year of employment in order to continue to provide FCT services and maintain employment with Health Connect America (HCA).
Complete FCT Checkoffs and other internal trainings within designated deadlines. Trainings are assigned and monitored through an e-learning system.
Deliver FCT clinical services to children, adolescents, and their families, primarily in their living environments, with a family focus.
Provide 24/7 on-call coverage to a caseload of families and children. Service is regularly provided in the home and community and will require service provision at the convenience of the child and family requiring a flexible work schedule.
Complete all required Clinical Records and FCT documents with the child and family and ensure the documents are entered/uploaded timely in the Electronic Health Record, according to company standards.
Develop Service Plan in coordination with Treatment Team Process and maintain the plan per designated authorization processes in the clinician's area of service. Work collaboratively on behalf of the child and family with the identified Treatment Team members to ensure effective communication and coordinated service provision.
Provide psychoeducation as indicated in the Service Plan.
Conduct interventions with the family aligned with the FCT model to include facilitating the movement of the child and family through the four phases of treatment and completing all fidelity documents.
Assist the families and children to establish weekly goals and help them to identify the steps that need to be taken to reach the established goals.
Develop and coordinate discharge plan based on treatment, indicating all relevant aftercare needs and plans. Access community resources that would be beneficial to client aftercare needs.
Coordinate and oversee the initial and ongoing assessment activities.
Convene the Treatment Team for Service Plan.
Consult with identified medical (e.g., primary care and psychiatric) and non-medical (e.g., Dept. of Child Services, school, Dept. of Juvenile Justice) providers; engage community and natural supports and include their input in the person-centered planning process.
Provide and coordinate behavioral health services and other interventions for the youth or other family members with other behavioral health professionals and Treatment Team members.
Qualifications
Minimum of a Master's Degree in human services or related field is required.
Two years' experience working with youth or families.
Additional state specific requirements include:
NC, VA- QMHP or ability to register as a QMHP
MS- Must be provisionally credentialed as a PCSS in Mississippi with eligibility to be fully credentialed as a CCSS in Mississippi.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide psychiatric care, including evaluations, follow-ups, and urgent and emergent consultations to individuals with mentalhealth needs
Document and navigate EMR independently
Maintain strict client confidentiality
Participate in the creation of an individualized treatment plan after discussing the case with the mentalhealth care team, collecting and reviewing psychosocial data, medical history, nursing assessment, and other pertinent information
Evaluate patients for the need for a higher level of care, including hospitalization
Provide patient education, specifically around issues related to medications and treatment adherence, and aftercare services
Work closely with Supervising physician to ensure improved patient outcomes and high-quality care
Diagnose and treat patients from different backgrounds/diverse backgrounds in a respectful manner
Document and navigate EMR independently and in a timely manner.
Work collaboratively with clinical leadership, billing, and compliance to ensure accurate and appropriate documentation.
Qualifications :
Must hold current license/registration to practice in the state of Georgia
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
