Manage a caseload of clients, providing 25-30 hours of direct service per week.     Job DescriptionAre you passionate about helping youth and families overcome their mental health challenges? Do you have a degree in counseling, social work, or a related field? If so, you might be the perfect candidate for our part-time mental health counselor position! MUST BE able to speak fluent Spanish as well as fully interpret Spanish We are a private practice in Lexington SC that offers in-home, office, community, and school-based counseling services to clients ages 2 to 78. We specialize in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, and other behavioral and emotional issues. We are looking for dedicated counselors who can work 8 - 20 hours per week with our unique population of youth and families. Work hours will vary for school-based clients - based upon school staff identification of possible hours available to provide services. Work hours for office, in-home, and community will be based upon your availability and agreement with client (if an adult) or guardian (if client is a minor) to schedule services. Work hours may entail possible evenings and weekends. Further information will be provided during interview. As a part-time mental health counselor, you will: - Conduct intake assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for each client - Provide evidence-based counseling interventions using modalities such as CBT, DBT, play therapy, and family therapy - Collaborate with school staff, parents, and other community resources to ensure continuity of care - Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and outcomes - Adhere to ethical and legal standards of professional practice To be considered for this position, you must have: - At minimum, a Bachelor's degree in counseling, social work, or a related field from an accredited program.
