Job Description A Senior Clinician at Covenant Family Solutions provides oversight of Nurse Practitioners, Nursing Assistants, Licensed Mental Healthcare Providers and Administrative Assistants while managing their own client caseload. This position is responsible for ensuring a high quality of care is being provided to our clients. This position does not involve supervision of temporary licensed therapists. Responsibilities: Understands and lives CFS Core Values. Develops with the Regional Clinic Director/Clinic Director and AA weekly Clinic Meeting Agenda. Facilitates weekly clinic meetings. Works closely with the Regional Clinic Director/Clinic Director to review clinic KPIs and quarterly goals. Audit records as clinically needed under the guidance of the Clinical Director to ensure quality of care is being provided. Auditing will be completed at least annually. Provides clinical case consultation to providers. Works with the Client Experience Manager to ensure Administrative Assistants have the appropriate training. Encourage opportunities for team connection and team building. Review, discuss with team members if needed and sign off on incident reports. Establish and review emergency protocols for the site. A Typical Day as a Behavioral Health Therapist: * Conduct family-centered, inclusive, trauma-responsive, and strengths-based assessments of the behavioral health needs of individual youth and adults, couples, and families; * Partner with clients and identify collaterals to develop treatment goals to address their presenting issues and needs; * Build on client strengths and provide goal-directed mental health therapy and counseling services to clients * Offer services at times convenient to clients to include some evenings; * Coordinate services with and provide consultation to other systems on behalf of clients, such as schools, medical providers, case workers/care coordinators, etc. * Document services as required by legal statute, funder requirements, and agency policies. How you will spend your time in this position: * 60% direct service with clients * 15% documentation * 10% staffing/supervision/group supervision * 10% Training * 5% other duties as assigned Location: 292 N. Chambers St, Galesburg, IL, with willingness to provide counseling services to clients through various modalities (individual, couple, family, group, in-office, outreach, telehealth) based on client preference and need Work Hours: Schedule is flexible and non-traditional; based on the availability of clients.
