Position Summary:
The Community Programs Internship in the Learning and Education department at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art is designed to provide an overview of the skills and responsibilities needed for community building, socially engaged arts practices, arts administration, and production for a range of audiences for a museum setting and in local communities. The internship will include administrative, arts producing, and teaching experiences with diverse audiences.
The intern will assist with several programs including the CB to You: Mobile Art Lab that travels to libraries, afterschool programs, and neighborhood festivals, as well as supporting audience outreach and community group visits. The intern will assist with organizing kits from assembly, ordering supplies and contacting community partners to arrange delivery to the organization's location. They will conduct online research about community programs at other museums and enhance accessibility across the institution by writing and reviewing verbal descriptions of artworks and captions for videos.
The intern is part of the Community Engagement department and team, which may require additional program assistance as needed for the four pillars, as well as participation in team meetings and ideation sessions. There are several professional development opportunities throughout the summer cohort and opportunities to learn about various museum departments through lunch and learns and other programs with fellow interns.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Community Programs Intern will actively participate and perform duties in some of the following functional areas:
Administrative, Research and Writing
Research Community Engagement and socially engaged programs at other museums
Assist in writing reports and marketing descriptions for Community Engagement
Audience outreach includes special invitation email writing and surveys to specific groups.
Program Support
Facilitation and set up of programs that travel to locations around NWA. A vehicle will be needed to meet staff members at the location.
Supporting art kit outreach and organization of deliveries and assembly.
Administrative assistance on organizing reports and evaluation data.
The intern will assist with organizing kits from assembly, ordering supplies and contacting community partners to arrange delivery to the organization's location.
The intern is part of the Community Engagement department and team which may require additional program assistance across the four pillars as needed as well as participation in team meetings and ideation sessions.
Qualifications:
College student, sophomore or above
Experience or interest in teaching in museums or informal learning environments
Experience or interest in working with diverse audiences including individuals with disabilities
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently, as well as within a team
Dependable and punctual.
Intern will require access to a vehicle for events located within the Northwest Arkansas Region.
Intern MUST work flexible hours that will include some nights and weekends.

Weekly schedule to be arranged with direct supervisor. Interns are permitted to work up to 40 hours a week.

Compensation:
Undergraduate Interns: $13.00
Graduate Interns: $14.00

Housing

Work environment: Work will be performed in an office environment and museum spaces. The noise level in the museum work environment is usually low to moderate.

The Licensed MentalHealth Professional position works under the general direction of the Behavioral Health Director. Essential duties include behavioral assessments, counseling, group work and family treatment and therapy. Providers/Therapists who are not independently licensed will have a supervision agreement in place. Supervision frequency will be congruent with the level of treatment provided. The licensed counselor is responsible for direct supervision of QBHPs. MHPs are required to observe and evaluate QBHP performance as well as direct and oversee QBHP work assignments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Essential duties include the following but are not considered an inclusive list.
Responsible for completion and documentation of intakes, initial assessments, diagnostic assessments, and biopsychosocial assessments.
Provide individual, group, and/or family therapy, and other behavioral health services as deemed appropriate to FCC clients.
Develop mutually defined treatment plan goals and objectives with clients, families, and treatment team members.
Responsible for direct supervision of QBHP's assigned to case load.
Provide crisis intervention as needed.
Participate in after-hours on call crisis response rotation
Maintain active licensure and continuing education documentation and submit copies to human resources accordingly.
Participate in regular (weekly) treatment team-staff meetings and other meetings as required.
Maintains confidentiality of all information received regarding Friendship Community Care, Inc., Senior Center programs, and clients. Conditions of confidentiality shall be in compliance with Friendship Community Care Non-Disclosure Policy and HIPAA Policies.
Provision of in-service training in specialized or general areas to professional and paraprofessional staff as requested.
Assistance in securing specialized services from a variety of sources, coordinate appropriate referrals, and serve as a liaison between client and other social service agencies.
Collaborate with stakeholders (school personnel, DHS, DPSQA, probation, etc.) to increase client success, including but not limited to in-service training, participation in stakeholder meetings, and other requests identified by stakeholders.
Responsible for discharge planning with client and families.
Responsible for providing follow-up care as needed.
Provide ongoing assessment and treatment planning consultation.
Completion of all client documentation in EHR within appropriate timelines (i.e., biopsychosocial, master treatment plan, treatment plan review, progress notes, discharge summaries, etc.)
Responsible for complete, accurate, current, and detailed documentation which meet regulatory and payer source guidelines.
Actively assists and helps maintain compliance with CARF, Medicaid, Licensing and DPSQA standards.
Will provide services at all assigned FCC designated BH sites, as needed.
Actively participates in marketing campaigns for services.
Collaborates with other mentalhealth specialists, such as psychiatrists, psychologists, clinical social workers, psychiatric nurses, and school counselors as indicated.
Conformance with all FCC policies and procedures.
Assist, as appropriate, in the development of appropriate policies and procedures to ensure OBH Program operates in an efficient and effective manner.
Assist with behavioral health consultations to the Community Supports division of FCC as requested.
